Divisional cities to get more fuel as BPC trims supply cut
Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) on Wednesday instructed its marketing companies to supply octane and petrol to filling stations in divisional cities with a reduced cut in allocation.
According to the new directive, the average reduction in fuel sales in divisional cities has been revised to 15 percent instead of the previously set 25 percent, while filling stations will receive supplies based on the approved allocation chart.
In a notice signed by BPC Director (Marketing) & Deputy Secretary Shahina Sultana, the corporation also instructed that fuel allocation in divisional cities be increased by 10 percent.

BPC requested depot superintendents, sales officials and dealers/agents of its marketing companies to take necessary measures to ensure fuel supply in line with the revised allocation.
The directive was issued as part of BPC’s ongoing measures to manage fuel supply and distribution amid the current global crisis, aiming to maintain adequate supply to meet public demand across the country.
