Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday met US Vice President JD Vance as the Islamabad talks commenced, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). “The US Vice President was assisted by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner,” the PMO said in a statement, reports DAWN. From the Pakistani side, the prime minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
