Bangladesh Police FC leaves for Amman for AFC Challenge League
A 33-member Bangladesh Police FC squad left Dhaka for Amman, Jordan, on Saturday to take part in the AFC Challenge League for the first time.
The Bangladesh Police football team left for Jordan on a Qatar Airways flight at around 11:30am.
The team will face Syrian Premier League champions Al-Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo SC in the qualifying round of the tournament.
The match will be played at King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman at 8pm local time on August 11.
Officials of the Bangladesh Police Football Club saw off the players at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport before their departure.
