Jatiya Oikyafront on Saturday extended its support to a dawn-to-dusk hartal to be enforced BNP in the city on Sunday protesting what they said vote rigging in the elections to Dhaka south and north city corporations.

Soon after BNP’s announcement to enforce a dawn-to-dusk hartal on Sunday, Bangladesh Road Transport Owners' Association announced to operate their vehicles during the shutdown.

Rejecting the results of the elections to the two Dhaka city corporations, BNP has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Dhaka for Sunday protesting ‘massive vote frauds.’
