West Indies made a solid start against Bangladesh on the opening day of the second game of the two-match Bangabandhu Test series in Dhaka on Thursday.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday announced the preliminary squads for ODIs and Tests for the home series against West Indies, starting from January 20, dropping Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.

Pakistan has recalled allrounder Faheem Ashraf and offspinner Bilal Asif for next week's ICC World Test Championship match against Bangladesh at Rawalpindi.
