The first batch of 15 cricketers of the newly formed preliminary squad of U-19 cricketers and 12 support staff tested negative for Covid-19. 

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday announced a 13-member squad for a two-day practice game against Zimbabwe including six members of Bangladesh U-19 team that won the ICC World Cup recently.

Five players- including three Bangladeshis and two Indians, who were involved in the final of the just-concluded ICC U-19 World Cup won by Bangladesh have been found guilty of breaching ICC’s Code of Conduct and were handed international suspensions.
