Bangladesh reports seven more dengue cases
Seven more people were hospitalised with dengue in the 24 hours to Saturday morning.
Of the new patients, five were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka and two outside it, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 123 dengue patients, including 50 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

So far, the DGHS has recorded 377 dengue cases, 252 recoveries, and two deaths this year.
The country recorded 281 dengue deaths in 2022 – the highest on record after 179 deaths recorded in 2019.
Also, the DGHS recorded 62,423 dengue cases and 61,971 recoveries in the last year.

Bangladesh reports 308 dengue cases, zero death in 24 hrs
Another 308 people were hospitalised with dengue in 24 hours till Monday morning.
The total fatalities remained unchanged at 257 as no death was reported during this period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the new patients, 172 were admitted to the hospitals of Dhaka and 136 outside it, said DGHS.

A total of 1,332 dengue patients, including 777 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
The DGHS has recorded 58,927 dengue cases and 57,338 recoveries so far this year.

Dengue: 87 new patients hospitalised in 24 hrs
Another 87 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till Monday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among them, 66 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka while the 21 in other places, it said.
As many as 344 dengue patients including 267 in the capital are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.

On Sunday, this year’s death toll from the mosquito-borne viral disease rose to10 with another death reported from Dhaka metropolitan area. Among the deaths, six were reported from Cox’s Bazar while four from Dhaka.
On June 21, the DGHS reported the first death of the season from the viral disease.
This year, the DGHS has recorded 2,747 dengue cases and 2,393 recoveries so far.
