Women's Football: Cumilla United Club outplay Nasrin Sports Academy 5-1; Sadia makes a hattrick
A brilliant hattrick by Sadia guided Uttara Football Club to earn a comfortable 5--0 goal victory over Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadash in the 4th round match of the Bashundhara Group Women's Football League' 2021-22 at the Bir Shreshta Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Thursday.
Sadia made a hattrick scoring three consecutive goals in the 22nd, 33rd and 65th minutes while Lipi netted the remaining two goals for Uttara FC in the 71st and 74th minutes.

In the day's other match at the same venue, Cumilla United Club outplayed Nasrin Sports Academy by 5-1 goal.
Maria, Shipra, Ripa, Sumi and Roaja scored one each for Cumilla United, which dominated the first half by 4-1 goal.

Kursia Jannat netted the lone goal for Nasrin Academy.

Women's Football: Bashundhara Kings clinch league crown
National star-studded Bashundhara Kings clinched the Women's Football League 2020-21 title with a 100% unbeaten record, crushing Nasrin Sports Academy 16-0 in their last match Monday.
The Kings, who secured the title in the previous match with an 18-0 victory over Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadash Saturday, earned 42 points from 14 encounters.
National team striker Sabina Khatun netted a double hat-trick, Krishna Rani Sarkar scored four goals, and Swapna also struck a hat-trick for the Kings at the Kamalapur Stadium.

Samsunnahar Junior, Sumaiya and Maria Manda netted one each for the champions.
In Monday's other match, Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College SC finished league runners-up, beating FC Brahmanbaria 8-2 at the same venue.
Shaheda Akhter Ripa and Halima Akhter struck two goals each while Marzia, Anuching Mogini, Anika Tanjum and Nasrin Akhter netted one each for the winners.
Kakoli Akter and Ela Moni Akter scored one each for FC Brahmanbaria.
In the day's other match, Jamalpur Kacharipara Akadadh defeated Suddopuskorini Jubo SC 5-0 at the same venue.
Bipasha Mali and Lipi Akhter scored two goals each while Ratna netted another for Jamalpur.
After the match, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Vice-President Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik handed the champions' trophy and a cheque of Tk3 lakh to the Kings.
Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, BFF member and chairman of BFF Women's Football Committee, distributed the runners-up trophy and a cheque of Tk2 lakh to Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College.

The Kings' Krishna Rani Sarkar was named the highest goal scorer of the league for her 28 goals while Shohagi of the runners-up team was adjudged the best player.

Women's Football: Bashundhara hands 20-0 drubbing to Nasrin DA
Bashundhara Kings earned massive 20-0 goals victory over Nasrin Sports Academy in the "Women's Football League 2020-21" at the floodlight Bangabandhu National Stadium here Tuesday evening.
With the day's well merited victory, star studded Kings topped the league table with all-win record securing full 21 points from straight seven matches.

The day' s other match between Kanchijhuli Sporting Club and Cumilla United Club ended in 1-1 draw at the same venue Tuesday afternoon.

Rozina Akhter put Cumilla United ahead in the 13th minute while Amena Khatun leveled the margin for Kanchijhuli SC in the 71st minute.
