Defending champions Bangladesh lost for the first time in the three-nation SAFF U-18 Women's Championship 2022 as they went down 1-0 to hosts India Saturday. This was the first victory for India against Bangladesh in the SAFF U-18 Women's Championship and also the second consecutive win for them in the ongoing tournament after a 7-0 thrashing of Nepal in the opening match.
