Coronavirus death toll crosses 4,000 globally
The death toll from the coronavirus or Covid-19 has climbed to 4,089 globally till Tuesday.
It has infected 116,059 people around the world, according to worldometers.
Besides, a total of 64,277 patients (94 percent of total infected) made recovery.
The coronavirus is affecting 115 countries and territories around the world and one international conveyance (the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan).
The World Health Organization has named the illness Covid-19, referring to its origin late last year and the coronavirus that causes it.
On January 30, WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak a Global Public Health Emergency.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Sunday confirmed that three coronavirus infected patients were detected in Bangladesh.
