The government, UN agencies and NGOs have worked "intensively" to increase coronavirus testing, expand isolation and treatment capacities for all people in Cox’s Bazar, which are available for Bangladeshis and Rohingyas on an equal basis, the Inter Sector Coordination Group (ISCG) said Friday. 

Inter Sector Coordination Group (ISCG) partners - UN agencies, local, national and international NGOs with the government of Bangladesh have stepped up their efforts to respond to priority COVID-19 needs in local communities and for Rohingyas in Cox’s Bazar district.

The humanitarian community – NGOs and UN agencies - are working closely with the government of Bangladesh on the preparedness and response in Rohingya camps with major current gaps - the extremely limited testing, and intensive care capacity in the Cox's Bazar district- over the coronavirus outbreak.
