India on Tuesday recorded 1,133 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, its highest single-day total, reports AP.

Abu Bashar, Magura district registrar, died from coronavirus early Saturday. He was 59.

Nineteen more people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Thakurgaon district in the last 24 hours till Saturday. 

A freedom fighter died of coronavirus at Dehatta village in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon  on Sunday.

Md Aminul Islam,  director general of Bogura Rural Development Academy (RDA), died from coronavirus at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Saturday morning.

A doctor died from coronavirus in Chattogram city on Wednesday morning.

A police constable died from coronavirus early Wednesday while being brought to Dhaka.

A policeman died from coronavirus in Rajshahi and 39 new cases were reported from five districts in the last 24 hours till Friday night.

The government on Saturday decided to keep all factories across Bangladesh open even as the health authorities reported new cases and confirmed the second death from coronavirus.
