Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim on Thursday dismissed the news that went viral on Facebook on house rent waiver, postponement of bank loan and electricity bill for three months and a one-month holiday in all offices as a rumour.

Police arrested a physician from the Prabartak area in the port city on Saturday on charges of spreading rumours over coronavirus via Facebook messenger.
