Two people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Kulaura upazila of the district.   Civil Surgeon Touhid Ahmed said a man and a woman tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. They were asked to stay in home quarantine as their condition is stable.   With this, three people were diagnosed with coronavirus in the district.

Two people who were undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital tested positive for Covid-19.   Deputy Commissioner SM Azizur Rahman said, one of them is 60 years old and a resident of Kazirchar in Mehendiganj upazila, while  another is 65 years and a resident of Dingarhat in Bakerganj upazila.   The authorities concerned collected samples of the duo on April 11.

Two more people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of cases in the country to 56, the government announced Thursday.
