The Dhaka Electric Supply Company Ltd (Desco) will provide smart pre-payment meters to all its customers by 2023

Nasrul Hamid, the State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, has urged the newly appointed officials of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Ltd (Desco) to work with innovative ideas to gain consumers’ satisfaction. 

The electricity supply in Dhaka city was disrupted for a while on Thursday due to the season’s first nor'wester accompanied by light shower.
