An 18-year-old boy  suffering from fever and cold died at his home at Charafzal  in Ramgati upazila on Monday.

Two children who died from fever and cold in Kamalnagar upazila on Friday and Saturday last had not been infected with coronavirus, said Civil Surgeon Dr Abdul Gaffar.   Habib, a resident of Torabganj, and Imon, a resident of Charmartin in the upazila, died from fever and cold at their respective homes.   Later, the samples of the deceased were sent to the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease (BITID) in Chattogram where they were found negative for coronavirus.   The houses of both the children were released from lockdown on Wednesday.   According to the district civil surgeon office, four houses in Ramgati and Ramganj upazilas are under lockdown and 2,066 people are on home-quarantine in the district.
