5 DCs, 2 Divisional Commissioners test positive for Covid-19
Five deputy commissioners and two divisional commissioners have tested positive for Covid 19, officials said on Monday.
Among those, two divisional commissioners are from Rajshahi and Barishal divisions while five deputy commissioners are from Cox’s Bazar, Chuadanga, Patuakhali, Laxmipur and Rajshahi.
All the infected were scheduled to join the three-day DC Conference beginning in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said all DCs and gunmen were asked to conduct RT-PCR test before joining the conference.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to open it, said Anwarul Islam while briefing reporters at the Bangladesh Secretariat after the Cabinet meeting.

The DC conference has already been shortened to a three-day one from five-day, which will take place at Osmani Memorial Auditorium instead of the meeting room in the Cabinet division due to the fresh surge of Covid-19, said the Cabinet Secretary.

Coroanvirus: Seven more test positive in Bogura
Seven more people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Bogura on Wednesday.
Civil Surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin announced the development on Thursday. He said the district has so far recorded 13 confirmed cases.
All of them are undergoing treatment at the isolation unit of Bogura Mohammad Ali Hospital.
The new patients have recently returned to their village homes from Dhaka and other districts, said Dr Tuhin.
They are residents of Dhunat, Sonatala, Bogura, Sadar, Sariakandi and Dupchachia upazilas of the district.

Coronavirus: 7 including policeman test positive in Chattogram
A police and a child were among seven people diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Chattogram.
Soon after the test reports came in, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) locked down its north zone barrack on Sunday night.
The traffic constable had been undergoing treatment for the last five days at the divisional police hospital. He has now been shifted to Andarkilla General Hospital, said Dr Hasan Shahriar, Chattogram divisional director of the Directorate General of Health Services.
