The low pressure area over Southeast Bay and adjoining South Andaman Sea has intensified into a well-marked low over the same area. “It is likely to intensify further. The Met Office has forecast rain in all eight divisions of the country in its 24 hours bulletin.   In a regular update on Monday evening, it said rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Chattogram, Barishal and Sylhet divisions during 24 hours commencing from 6pm.   One or two places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions might be hit by rain during this period.   A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area while a seasonal low lies over South Bay.    In its five-day weather bulletin, the Met Office said rain and thundershowers activity is likely to continue.    Sunday’s highest temperature was recorded at 36.6 degree Celsius in Jashore and the lowest 18.3C in Tetulia.
