Russia to provide internships to Bangladeshi doctors
The Russian Ministry of Health will provide internships to practising doctors from Bangladesh in the country's leading medical and scientific centres.
Russia will provide full funding for these practices and educational activities, according to the Russian Embassy in Dhaka.

Besides providing Bangladeshi specialists with living facilities at a minimum cost, language assistance is also being implemented.
The embassy also advised interested physicians to contact it to determine the basis for their internship, including the field of training (specialisation) and the list of required skills.

BAF aircraft leaves for Maldives with essential items, 11 physicians
A C-130B transport aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka for Maldives on Saturday with daily essentials as souvenir and 11 Bangladeshi doctors who could not join their workplace in Maldives due to coronavirus situation.
The mission consisting of 19 BAF Air crew was led by Air Commodore M A Awal Hossain of the BAF.
Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat provided necessary directives to carry out the mission, said Director of ISPR directorate Lt Col Abdullah Ibne Jayed.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Abul was also present on the occasion.

Coronavirus: Bangladesh cannot afford losing doctors
As Bangladesh is already under tremendous pressure to cope with the coronavirus outbreak with inadequate doctors and nurses, experts warned that the country cannot afford to lose health professionals to coronavirus only for lack of necessary protective measures and collective efforts.
