ACC filed graft case against former chief revenue officer of DSCC
The Anti- Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday filed a case against the former chief revenue officer of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Yusuf Ali Sardar for illegally earning around TK 1.39 crore.
The case was filed at Dhaka Coordinated Office of the ACC after the investigation.

Deputy Director of ACC Public relation office Muhammad Arif Sadeq told UNB that Deputy Director Syed Nazrul Islam filed the case.
According to the case statement, ACC found the TK 3 crore 34 lakh 43 thousand belonging to Sardar while his earning from legal source should be TK 1. 95 crore.

ACC sues 3 for embezzling rice from govt godown
The Anti- Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday filed a case against three people, including the in-charge of government food grain godown of Gabtoli upazila in Bagura district.
The Commission filed the case against them as they embezzled 15,000 kgs of rice from the government godown.
Deputy director of Coordinated Office in Bagura Wahid Manjur Sohag filed the case on May 30 night with the coordinated district office of Bagura.l
They are in-charge of government food grain storage of Bagura district's Gabtoli upazilla Shafiqul Islam, night guard Sadequl Islam and trader Amzad Hossain.
On Friday (May 29) night, the three people were handed over from Gabtali police station to the ACC Bogra integrated district office.
According to the case, police seized 300 sacks of rice and arrested Shafiqul Islam.
Later, police also arrested Sadequl Islam, a night guard of the warehouse, and Amjad Hossain, a businessman.
Gabtali Upazila Food Controller Harun-or -Rashid lodged a written complaint with Gabtali Model Police Station against the trio.
But the police did not record the allegations as a case and handed them over to the ACC.

Zero tolerance against graft in relief distribution: ACC
