Super Cyclone ‘Amphan’ is set to make landfall on the coast this afternoon or evening, with 200 kph to 220 kph wind speeds at its centre.

The deep depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay intensified into cyclonic storm AMPHAN at 9pm on Saturday, the Met Office said in a weather bulletin.
