The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have agreed to work together to promote health through sport and physical activity with a special focus on preventing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) through sport.

Dhaka, Oct 20 (UNB)- A scientific congress on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), first of its kind in the country, kicked off  on Sunday, aiming to develop a strong institutional platform and strengthen research collaborations between clinicians and public health researchers.
