A total of 984 educational institutions have secured cent pass in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations, a sharp decline from 2,968 institutions that achieved the same in 2024. This marks a drop of 1,984 institutions compared to last year, indicating a significant decrease in the number of schools where all students passed. The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Thursday with an average pass rate of 68.45 %, a significant drop in the pass rate compared to last year.

Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee, said, “We have sent a proposal to the Ministry of Education seeking July 10 as the possible date for publishing results of the SSC and equivalent exams,” he said. A girl allegedly committed suicide after failing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in Molanipara village of Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on Monday. Shrabanti Rani,15, daughter of Ramesh Chandra of the village, appeared in the SSC examination from Mathurapur High School.
