SSC 2025: 984 educational institutions achieve 100% pass rate
A total of 984 educational institutions have secured cent pass in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations, a sharp decline from 2,968 institutions that achieved the same in 2024.
This marks a drop of 1,984 institutions compared to last year, indicating a significant decrease in the number of schools where all students passed.
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations were published on Thursday with an average pass rate of 68.45 %, a significant drop in the pass rate compared to last year.

Results of SSC, equivalent exams to be published Thursday
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Thursday.
The results will be published simultaneously at 2 pm on July 10 , said a press release signed by Professor Dr. Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on Tuesday.
HSC examinees to be allowed inside exam centres from 8:30am
The results will be available on the official websites of the respective education boards, as well as at all examination centres and educational institutions under their jurisdiction, it said.
SSC and equivalent exams were held under the nine general education boards—Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, and Mymensingh, the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

SSC, equivalent exam results likely on July 10
The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be published on July 10 subject to approval from the Ministry of Education.
Professor SM Kamal Uddin Haider, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee, said, “We have sent a proposal to the Ministry of Education seeking July 10 as the possible date for publishing results of the SSC and equivalent exams,” he said.

The results will be published once the ministry gives its approval, he added.

Thakurgaon girl ‘commits suicide’ over SSC result
A girl allegedly committed suicide after failing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in Molanipara village of Thakurgaon Sadar upazila on Monday.
Shrabanti Rani,15, daughter of Ramesh Chandra of the village, appeared in the SSC examination from Mathurapur High School.

Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge of sadar police station said that Shrabanti's family members scolded her after learning that she failed to pass the exam.
Shrabanti killed herself after swallowing pesticide after that, added the OC.

Educational institutions not reopening now: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Haisna on Sunday ruled out the possibility of opening educational institutions right now saying that students are the future of the country and the government does not want to put them at risk.
