Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the UN Ambassador Rabab Fatima has said countries will have to collaborate strongly for a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bangladesh has joined as a member of the Steering Committee of the UN Group of Friends on climate adaptation and resilience.

Bangladesh has called for “global solidarity and cooperation” and “strong political will” to address the challenges of the migrants who are disproportionately affected by the COVID- 19 pandemic globally.
