Ex- BMA leader Dr Akhtaruzzaman’s daughter dies of Covid-19
Oishee Zaman, daughter of the former general secretary of Khulna district unit of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Dr Akhtaruzzaman, died of coronavirus at a corona dedicated hospital on Tuesday noon.
Oishee Zaman, 30, had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since July 4 after she tested positive for coronavirus, said Dr Akhtaruzzaman.
The death toll from coronavirus in Bangladesh rose to 2,151on Tuesday as the health authorities confirmed the death of 55 more patients in a span of 24 hours.
Besides, 3,027 new Covid-19 cases were detected after testing 13,173 samples, taking the total confirmed coronavirus cases to 1,68,645 as of Tuesday.

SAF, BMA launch sample collection camp in Chattogram
The Salma Adil Foundation (SAF) and Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), Chattogram on Tuesday launched a sample collecting camp at the Shah Alam Biruttam Auditorium of Chattogram Medical College & Hospital, to collect samples from doctors with Covid-19 symptoms.
