A Dhaka court on Sunday accepted a case filed by cartoonist Ahmed Kabir Kishore over alleged torture on him in custody after his arrest under the Digital Security Act (DSA).

Cartoonist Kabir Kishore was released from Kashimpur Central Jail on Thursday, a day after the High Court granted six-month bail to him in a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA).

The High Court (HC) on Monday fixed March 3 to deliver its order on the bail petition of cartoonist Kabir Kishore in a case filed under the Digital Security Act for ‘anti-government posts’ on Facebook.

A court on Tuesday directed to interrogate cartoonist Kabir Kishore and three others for two days at jail gate in a case filed under the Digital Security Act over their anti-government posts on Facebook.
