Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said those responsible for the death of Barishal Metropolitan Police’s (BMP’s) Senior ASP Anisul Karim Shipon will be brought to justice.

A case was filed at Adabor Police Station early Tuesday over the death of Barishal Metropolitan Police’s (BMP) Senior ASP Anisul Karim Shipon.

An assistant sub-inspector of Barishal Metropolitan Police died after suffering from fever and cold at Rajarbagh Police Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday.

As part of the government’s move to tackle the coronavirus outbreak, Barishal city has been divided into red and green zones based on the severity of COVID-19 cases.
