Golam Rasul, a retired staff of Kushtia General Hospital  and a resident East Majampur in Kushita municipality, got extremely surprised when police came to his house to put it under lockdown saying that he had tested positive for Covid-19.   Rasul said he did not provide his sample for coronavirus test as he has no symptoms but he has been identified as Covid patient .   According to the local administration sources, Golam Rasul’s name has been enlisted in the list of Covid-19 patients provided by the authorities  of PCR Lab of Kushtia Medical College.    Rasul  said he has no fever, cold and cough but he went to  the hospital for giving samples suspecting that he might have got infected with the virus as he often visits local markets. But he returned without giving any samples due to long queues.   Nurunnahar Begum, supervisor of Kushtia General Hospital, said someone instead of Rasul might have provided the samples.   However, the health authorities are looking for the man who provided samples instead of Rasul as many more people might have been infected by him as he tested positive for Covid-19.
