Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni has said that a decision regarding SSC and HSC examination would be announced soon. The education minister said this while addressing a virtual program on distributing  stipends and tuition fees among 43 lac students on Tuesday. She said, "We have published the results of the SSC examination held in 2020 and evaluated HSC results in an alternative method. Also read: HC questions exclusion of SSC-2016 passed students from admission test " Sixteen students from 10 educational institutions from four upazilas took part in the virtual stipend giving ceremony. Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as a special guest at the ceremony.

Nearly 1,700 higher secondary certificate (HSC) passouts have applied to Jashore Education Board for re-evaluation of their results.

The Cabinet on Monday approved the drafts of three amendment bills aiming to publish the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)  and equivalent examinations by January 28 next.

Speakers at a discussion in the capital on Saturday opposed the government’s decision of giving students auto-promotion without holding HSC and other examinations, saying it is part of a ploy to destroy the country’s education system and the nation.

No final decision has been taken over the Junior School Certificate(JSC) and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations, said the Education Ministry.
