Cancer specialists on Thursday called upon all wake of life to avoid alcohol to stay free of liver cancer as it increases the risk of the deadly disease.

Countries around the globe are observing the World Hepatitis Day on Tuesday.

Around 5,700 deaths from liver cancer have been recorded in the UK in 2017, increasing from 3,200 deaths in 2007, according to the latest figures released on Friday by Cancer Research UK.
