Police on Friday arrested a local Jubo League leader and two others for defacing the sculpture of anti-British revolutionary leader Bagha Jatin in Kushtia’s Kumarkhali.

A team of Detective Branch in Bogura arrested three people including a local Jubo League leader along with fake cheque of Tk 1200 crore from Tarash upazila in Sirajganj district on Wednesday.

Police arrested a local Jubo League leader and two others early Sunday from the district town in Sadar upazila in connection with a money laundering case.
