A Cox's Bazar court on Wednesday placed seven people, including four policemen, on a seven-day remand each in a case filed over the killing of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three people from Marisbunia in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district in connection with the killing of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan in Teknaf.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday assured the mother of retired Major Sinha Md Rashed of proper investigation into the murder of her son and the trial of his killers.
