DT8 Ultra Review: Does it clone Apple Watch Ultra?
The budget smartwatch market happens to be quite saturated. The term smartwatch should be reserved for proper OS-based smartwatches like WearOS and Apple watches. But these days, fitness-based smartwatches with added perks are becoming the standard in the budget segment. DT No.1 seems to be a pioneer in this regard. Their latest offering is the DT8 Ultra. Is it a worthy clone of the Apple Watch Ultra? Let's take a look at the key features of DT8 Ultra.
An Apple Watch Ultra Homage at a Fraction of the Cost
We’ve already mentioned that DT smartwatches aren’t famous for what they bring to consumers. Rather, how affordably they bring devices that are a somewhat direct reflection of high-end smartwatches.
This blatant “inspiration” for DT smartwatches comes from top-end models of Samsung, Huawei, Fitbit, and in this specific case, Apple. While the high-end smartwatch market has its own niche of customers, it's out of reach for most average users. DT has captured that mass market by bringing a similar look and feel to high-end products at a fraction of their cost.

For the sake of reference, we will be bringing in the Apple watch ultra in this review, as the DT8 Ultra shares almost all of its outer looks with the OEM model. But bear in mind that the comparison is in no way justified as the watch ultra costs about 800 dollars, whereas the DT8 comes in at under 30 dollars.
Key Specifications of DT8
Design and Build Quality
Now moving on to the actual design, there’s not much to discuss. It’s an exact copy of this year’s Apple watch ultra. DT has even covered the diameter to the T at 49 mm. The same bright orange button is mounted on the side, with the speaker grill positioned right on top.
On the right side, the crown is positioned between the protective bevels. However, the crown looks much more grooved on the DT8 ultra than on the watch ultra.
Read More: Colmi P28 Plus Review: Is It a Worthy Budget Smartwatch?
The build quality is also where the gross difference becomes apparent. While the Apple watch ultra is made from industry-leading grade five titanium, the DT8 ultra uses a much cheaper zinc alloy material.
The strap here is the standard silicone one designed to replicate the ocean band loop of the OEM. You will be hard-pressed to notice the difference unless you actually hold the watch in your hand. It also comes with IP68 water resistance. However, it's in no way a dive computer like the watch ultra. In fact, DT even discourages users from going swimming with it.
Overall, there really is no room for complaints with the look and feel of the watch ultra clone considering its price. For anyone who simply wants the design aesthetics of the watch ultra rather than the internals, the DT8 ultra shouldn’t be a tough choice.

Display
The display is where you start noticing the obvious difference with the watch ultra. Unlike the 1000 nits bright AMOLED panel with vibrant color and vivid sharpness, you’re only going to get a 2-inch IPS LCD panel with a 420P resolution.
But if you consider the price bracket it comes at, this display is no less than excellent. It has deep color contrast, and users will be hard-pressed to make out the individual pixels. On top of that, the touch sensitivity is also surprisingly good. It might not have the top-of-the-line HBM, but the display gets bright enough in auto mode for proper outdoor legibility.
All in all, the device won’t disappoint any average user. However, the bezels on the side of the display are significantly larger than those on the watch ultra, so bear in mind the differences.

Processor and Performance
The DT8 Ultra comes equipped with a Realtek 8762Dk chip. While no benchmark scores are available to quantify the performance, DT claims that users will get a significant processing and response boost with the ultra. There’s also 128 MB of onboard storage for miscellaneous use.
The heart rate sensor used on the ultra is Zhanheng BD1773. This sensor combines several features, including the heart rate and G sensor, for an industry-accurate performance.
Fitness Features and Connectivity
While the Apple Watch Ultra has neared the ability to replace a traditional smartphone, the DT8 ultra takes a more grounded approach. It's more like a souped-up fitness tracker with many cool features.

In addition to using the hotkey as a shortcut for workouts and other features, users can access over 500 watch faces specially customized to replicate the watch ultra.
Users can monitor their blood oxygen level, sedentary reminders, weather, workout tracking, and even Alipay in supported regions thanks to the enabled NFC. There’s no dedicated LTE support on the DT8 ultra, so users must rely on Bluetooth 5.0 for call connectivity. You will also have access to an AI voice assistant that is currently region locked.
Battery and Charge Time
The DT8 ultra features a 280 mAh battery on board. With the display resolution and processing power, a full charge should easily last up to 5 days. But the battery life will be significantly reduced if you’re heavy on using GPS and sleep tracking.

Our test took almost 2 hours for the watch to fully charge.
Price of DT8 Ultra Smartwatch
The official price of the DT8 Ultra has been listed at 29.99 USD at different Chinese marketplaces with global shipping options. Unfortunately, the watch isn’t directly available from DT No.1. The price amounts to 3069 BDT at the current exchange rate. (1 USD = 102.34 BDT)
Final Thoughts
The DT8 ultra Smartwatch far exceeds the expectation of being a worthy clone of the Apple Watch Ultra. It's incredible how much DT has been able to fit in at such a tight price point for this device. It's not about just adding features for the sake of adding. Each of them adds proper value to the users with accurate measurements and counts.

Using Smartwatch Daily? Know the Pros and Cons
Since their beginnings, smartwatches have advanced significantly, and they are now better than ever. Besides monitoring health indicators like Heart Rate, Blood Pressure; modern smartwatches offer sophisticated functions like sleep monitoring, which informs you of the quality of your sleep and other pertinent information. However, people are unsure whether or not to wear their Smartwatch to bed. This article discusses the benefits and drawbacks of using Smartwatches on a regular basis.
Should You Wear a Smartwatch on a Daily?
Smartwatches are safe as long as their owners take care of them. In a word, these gadgets are miniature computers worn on the wrist. As with any technological gadget, their potential for damage is contingent on how they are used. Having said that, there are still areas of worry, including radiation exposure and potential health complications. Let's look at them and learn how to prevent them.
Disadvantages of Smartwatches
Smartwatches Can be a Cause of Cancer
In 2015, The NY Times published an article asserting that wearing a wristwatch might cause cancer. According to the publication, the assertion was made in response to a 2011 statement by the! According to an RC, mobile phones may be carcinogenic to humans. According to the assertion, both mobile phones and smartwatches both emit radiation. They both represent a danger to people.
Read Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G: What Will It Offer?
However, the assertion was later shown to not be proper. The notice itself includes a footnote noting that the decision is based on circumstantial evidence. Since then, research has been published concluding that there is currently no evidence that radiofrequency radiation causes cancer in cells, animals, or people. Additionally, wearables such as smartwatches emit lesser energy and frequencies than smartphones.
Smartwatches as a Threat to the Health
Previously, research indicated that mobile phone radiation might have an effect on the body. This might manifest itself in the form of headaches, mood changes, and sleep disturbances. The reason for this is that smartwatches also produce radiation. Additionally, they may offer long-term health hazards. Additionally, some folks have reported experiencing headaches and nausea after wearing the watch for an extended period of time. Additionally, some individuals have difficulty maintaining a regular sleeping pattern while wearing the watch.
According to a study, exposure to high EMF radiation might result in headaches and nausea. That's why it is suggested that users use airplane mode on their smartphones while not in use. Sleeping issues are also a regular occurrence among smartphone users. This is often the result of excessive usage, which results in decreased productivity and rest.

Is it Really Harmful to Wear A Smartwatch?
In retrospect, these health and safety concerns about the usage of smartwatches make obvious. After all, these gadgets link to the internet through EMF radiation, which is known to pose health hazards. However, cell phones generate radiation that is insufficiently powerful to cause serious damage, while smartwatches emit radiation that is much weaker. Additionally, the FDA has told us that there is nothing to worry about."
Concerning the other health problems, smartwatches, when used excessively, are just as harmful as smartphones. These technologies have the potential to interrupt your sleep and decrease your productivity. As such, it is suggested that users use caution.

Benefits of Wearing a Smartwatch
As the technologies applied in Smartwatches are designed to make life simpler, they may be quite useful when used wisely. This is true not just for daily tasks but also for your general health and well-being. A smartwatch, depending on your choices and requirements, could be a very useful companion item. Here are two significant ways in which these watches might enhance your life.
Ideal Health Partner
Due to the fact that these smartwatches are current fitness trackers, one of their primary duties is to assist you in tracking your fitness progress.
This is why most smartwatches include capabilities such as sleep monitoring, sleeping schedules, pedometers, heart rate monitoring, vibration massage, diet and planning, calorie intake, etc.

These tools assist you in tracking your progress and even assisting you in controlling your diet. Additionally, some come with accompanying workout routines. When utilized properly, they may assist you in developing healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices.
Daily Companion
Apart from keeping you healthy, smartwatches double as portable computers. This means they perform similarly to current smartphones but with the extra bonus of portability. Depending on the sort of wristwatch you buy, these gadgets are utilized for everyday chores such as calendar management and social media monitoring.
These smartwatches can also link you to the internet, and some may even assist you in making or receiving calls. To do this, some smartwatches connect through Bluetooth to your phone, while others are standalone devices with their own SIM card and cellular capability. Due to the fact that these are types of cellphones linked to your wrist, they may assist you in staying connected to your "life" online. These features are quite useful if your schedule is busy and you are not constantly carrying your phone with you.
Read Infinix Hot 12 5g: What will it offer?
The majority of these smartwatches also provide safety features. These include maintaining a record of your whereabouts and independently contacting authorities in the event of an emergency.
Verdict
It's natural to wonder if smartwatches may be dangerous if worn often. Health scares are pervasive and readily spread among the uninformed. Electronic equipment produces electromagnetic fields, which is a reason for worry.
Smartwatches, on the other hand, transmit fewer radio frequencies than smartphones, which already emit seldom. Additionally, studies have suggested that evidence points in the other direction, and there is no need to be concerned.

While smartwatches can offer some danger, the same can be said of any technology when used excessively. So, users don't need to be cautious or to worry as long as they are careful and manage their consumption. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure that the model you are using has met all applicable safety regulations and is manufactured by a trustworthy business. Therefore, feel free to enjoy your wristwatch.

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Smartwatch Review with Price in Bangladesh
Gone are days when people carry watches only for watching the time. In today's world, a watch can offer far better things than just showing time. With the advancement of technology, the latest Smartwatches feature a bunch of broad range of aspects. However, not all Smartwatches can make users happy. Some smartwatches are too large, too unattractive, too sluggish while some are too expensive. There are a plethora of ways that can go wrong. While the world is still away from achieving perfection, Samsung brings Galaxy Watch4. Let's see what does it offer.
Key features of Samsung Galaxy Watch4
This article will discuss different sides of the Samsung Galaxy Watch one by one to give a full view to the users. For people who have eyes for special features of a watch, this article will cover them all. Let’s begin
Design
The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is a sleek wristwatch with a comfortable fit for a wrist. The watch is a little chunkier and keeps a rotating bezel.
It provides a smaller design, with a couple of buttons on the right edge. There is nothing else to distract from its clean appearance. It is available in two sizes: a 40mm face and a 44mm case.
Both variants are constructed entirely of aluminium. The 40mm variant comes in 40.4 x 39.3 x 9.8mm dimension and weighs 25.9g, while the 44mm variant measures 44.4 x 43.3 x 9.8mm and weighs 30.3g.

Display
Both Galaxy Watch4 versions have brilliant displays. The resolution in both versions is remarkable, with the 40mm mode as it offers 396 x 396 pixels and the 44mm variant offering 450 x 450 pixels. Both variants have a pixel density of 330 pixels per inch.
One feature that distinguishes the Galaxy Watch4 from other smartwatches is its virtually rotating bezel. There is no real rotating bezel here, but users can spin between menus and access various functions by running their fingers around the black bezel of the screen.
Each model of the watch is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, allowing them to be submerged in water at a maximum of 5 meters deep. However, a note regarding the included watch band: it's constructed of a novel material that may not be suitable for intensive exercises since it caused a rash on the human wrist.

Additionally, colour selections differ across models. The 40mm Watch4 comes in gold, black, or silver, while the 44mm Watch4 is available in black, green, or silver. All of them are quite subdued hues, so users may want to purchase another strap if they like a more vibrant hue on their wrist.
Performance
The Watch4 is supported by Samsung's Exynos W920 CPU and comes with 1.5GB of RAM. This is sufficient to operate a whole deal of applications without experiencing any slowness. This is by far the most responsive smartwatches the world has seen.
When this speed is not as visible as it is on a smartphone or a laptop, it is noticeable when compared to other smartwatches, and it enables you to utilize a range of applications while the GPS functions are active, for example.

So, increasing the brightness, continuous heart rate monitoring, turning on the sleep monitoring will certainly affect the battery life. But the good thing is, you can charge it while you are not using it. So, changing the device every 10 days is good enough to use all the features simultaneously.
Health Tracking and Fitness Features
For fitness tracking, Mi Band 6 drastically improved its capability. For daily activity tracking it uses the onboard accelerometer which counts the covered distance, daily steps, and burned calories. Besides, it also features a seven-day alert to the users about their weekly activities. Through the Mi Fit app, you can see in detail a report of your activities and health. Aside from this, the device will also send the inactivity notification, if it notices that you are inactive for a certain period.

Sleep Tracking
When you wear the device regularly, it automatically tracks your sleep routine and lets you know your sleeping time and gives a report on your sleeping habits. The report will consist of your sleep stage, duration of the sleep and it will even check out on your naps. The sleep analysis will send you feedback if you slept well, or have any problems in your sleep. However, your breathing also gets counted while sleeping. Finally, Mi Band 6 will provide you a sleep score and give you suggestions on improvements.
Stress tracking
It is an outstanding feature from Mi Band 6. It can send a report on your stress level using the heart rate variability and your movements. Furthermore, the device can analyze the stress level based on gender, as men and women pursue different levels of stress in different situations. The report can be closely monitored through the Mi Fit app. However, the device collects data over a span of time before giving you the stress report.

Heart rate accuracy and SpO2
Mi Band 6 comes with the optical heart rate monitor that offers continuous heart monitoring, spot measurement, and analysis on heart rest. Besides, it also monitors the heart rate during your exercise. After analyzing the rate of your heart for every 30 minutes it gives an almost accurate report on your heart. As a result, you will know if your heart is healthy or not. Other than that, the SpO2 sensor is a phenomenal feature. It can get you the report on your blood oxygen level through the iHealth pulse oximeter.
SmartWatch Features
The smartwatch on Mi Band 6 works on both Android and iPhone. You can connect the third-party application as well as the native app to use the smartwatch via your phone. The smartwatch featured reminders, weather forecasts, alerts, controlling music, and so on. Furthermore, the smartwatch feature can get you a photo-taking option with your phone’s camera. However, it does not come with the payment support feature. However, if you were a Band 5 user you may find a lot of similarities in displaying a notification, weather updates, and music controls.

Sport Tracking
The Mi 6 added 19 new sports profiles while the previous version contained 11 profiles. So, you can get the opportunity to select from 30 sports profiles which include swimming, jump rope, running, cycling, basketball, cricket, and other popular sports. However, it will not take your shots while playing basketball, but it comes with the ability to tag your team on the court.
In addition to the manual tracking, it also tracks the exercises automatically such as treadmill, walking, rowing, cycling, and elliptical. However, the improved GPS and mapping support can track your area accurately. So, your phone gets the actual GPS data via the device. After a certain exercise, you can review your data from the band itself. Besides, you can get the detailed report via the Mi Fit app using your phone.
Bottom Line
If you are a fitness freak and want to track your body clock continuously, Xiaomi Mi Band 6 can be your ultimate friend. Since it is yet to launch in Bangladesh, you can order online from the USA or Europe marketplace. However, it is already available in China, you can order from there too.
