Flagship Killer
realme GT 6 5G Review: Is It a Flagship Killer?
The youth-focused brand realme’s GT series smartphones are mainly built for virtual gaming. Last year, the GT 5 became popular for its futuristic design and features. This year, GT 6, a new addition to the GT series was launched on 25th June with a more refined and minimal design and even more specs bump. Let’s take a detailed look at the features of realme GT 6 5G to see whether it can rival the flagships of the Android world.
Key Specifications of realme GT 6 5G
Design and Build Quality
The GT line from realme was always known for its design and sturdy build. realme however took a more toned-down approach this year with a frosted glass back, an iPhone look-alike camera system, and a mirror visor to house the large sensors. It’s like a minimal homage to a design language that is every bit Realme.
The dimensions of the device come in at 162 by 75.1 by 8.65 mm with an effective weight of 199 g. The front glass is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This device bears a plastic panel. Its structure is also built with a plastic frame. The curved angle on both the front and the back makes the device even slimmer than it already is.

Ports and buttons are all in their usual space. The chamfered edges provide a good grip in an otherwise slippery and fingerprint magnet back. The GT 6 also comes with IP65 water and dustproofing for protection against accidental splashes. The two color options for this year’s GT are Razon Green and Fluid Silver.
The Display
The display on the GT 6 is a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with stacked features. Users will be getting 1B colors, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support, and Dolby Vision. The typical brightness of the panel is around 1000 nits with 1600 nits of HBM and a stunning 6000 nits of peak brightness. Overall, it’s a larger and brighter panel compared to the outgoing GT 5.
The effective resolution of the panel comes in at 1264 by 2780 pixels making for a 450 ppi density. The near bezel-less curved panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 94.2% which is one of the highest in the industry. Additional specs include a 5000000:1 contrast ratio and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support.

As for the performance of the panel itself, there’s no room for complaints. The 120 Hz makes everything super smooth. No doubt, the GT 6 is going to be a great device for content consumption.
The Camera
There is a triple camera sensor on the GT 6. The main camera is a 50 MP Sony LYT 808 sensor with f/1.69 aperture, 1/1.4 inch sensor, and an 85-degree field of view. The second sensor is a 50 MP Samsung JN5 2x telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and 1/ 2.8 inch sensor size. And the last one is an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 1/4 inch sensor size.
The front features a 32 MP Sony IMX615 sensor with f/2.45 aperture.

The camera specs are a huge bump up from the GT 5 as it now includes an improved ultrawide and a new telephoto lens. In terms of performance, the details are on point with a balanced dynamic range. The ultrawide however didn’t capture as sharp images as the main wide-angle sensor. The colors were natural with a slight hint of warm tones in them.
The night photography and the portrait shots will also impress you with the exposure and details. The selfie camera, while being a tad soft with the images, still produced social media-ready images.
The videography on the GT 6 is rated at 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps thanks to the OIS and gyro-EIS. The stabilization and smooth capture allowed for decent videography out of the GT 6.

We’d put the camera performance on par if not better than much higher-priced alternatives like the Xiaomi 14 Civi and the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.
Processor and Performance
The processor on the realme GT 6 is the new Qualcomm SM8635 Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 based on 4 Nm architecture. The processor has a chip design of 1x3.0 GHz Cortex-X4 & 4x2.8 GHz Cortex-A720 & 3x2.0 GHz Cortex-A520 with Adreno 735 GPU.
The GT 6 provides the best overall performance and stability among all the other devices using the new 8s Gen 3 processor. Games like COD could be played with max settings at a constant 120 fps. Genshin impact recorded around 60 fps and Warzone clocked at 50 fps. The 8s Gen 3 now supports ray tracing so games like War Thunder can be played with added immersive experience. In our test, the ray tracing worked perfectly without any stutter whatsoever.

Verdict
The GT 6 makes some impressive improvements in design, processor, camera, and even display compared to the GT 5. In terms of real-world performance, the GT 6 excels compared to its higher-tier competitors like the Xiaomi 14 Civi and the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.
However, there is still room for developments in the telephoto and the ultrawide camera performance. Nowadays many budget-friendly phones are offering glass-made rear panels and aluminum frame constructions. So, the GT 6 phone falls short in this section. Besides, the lack of headphone jack, reverse, and wireless charging may disappoint many users.
On the whole, the realme GT 6 5G can be best described as a gaming flagship killer with minor shortcomings. It’ll be a perfect grab for those looking for a flagship experience in gaming smartphones without breaking the bank.

iQOO Neo 8 Review: Is this affordable premium smartphone worth buying?
For the last several years, iQOO has enriched the smartphone market with its affordable premium smartphones. Being a subsidiary of BBK Electronics, iQOO is slowly taking over the mantle of flagship killer status. The company recently launched the iQOO Neo 8 on 23rd May 2023. This mid-range smartphone brings specs that would rival the recent flagship smartphones. Let’s dig into it more.
Key Specifications of the iQOO Neo 8
Design and Build Quality
iQOO devices have a unique design statement with their characteristic rectangular camera housing and contrasting finish on the back (leather variant). The Neo 8 is no different as well. Users will be getting a plastic frame, glass back and front. The build feels durable and sturdy even with the plastic frame.
The dimensions of the Neo 8 come in at 164.7 mm by 77 mm by 8.5 mm with 192 g weight. The front of the device has a noticeable chin at the bottom. But that is about it when it comes to drawbacks. Ports and buttons are similar to that of the Neo 7 which means there aren’t any 3.5 mm headphone jack on the Neo 8.
Read more: iQoo 12 Pro Review: Flagship phone for gamers
The Display
The display on the Neo 8 is easily its strongest suit. The 6.78 inch AMOLED display has 1B colors, 144Hz, HDR10, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The QHD+ resolution display has 1260 by 2800 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 453 ppi density. There is a slight chin at the bottom and around the side of the display. It accounts for about 87.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The specifications on paper are strongly reflected in real life. The panel looks stunning with great contrast and color balance. The HBM allows for easy readability under direct sunlight. It's not the brightest per se, but it's the best at its price point.
The Camera
There is a dual camera setup on the iQOO Neo 8. The main camera is a 50 MP f/1.9 wide-angle shooter with PDAF and OIS. The secondary sensor is a 2 MP one with an f/2.4 depth sensor. It's essentially a single shooter phone considering the depth sensor doesn’t do anything other than assisting in the portrait shots.
The pictures from the main camera came out sharp and detailed. iQOO has significantly improved its post-processing capacity. Pictures taken during the daylight came out well exposed with good details. The colors had a slight warm tone to them which made the images pop. However, it wasn’t overpowering in any way and the pictures came out looking natural. The dynamic range was also well-preserved in most shots.
Read more: vivo X100 Pro Review: A New Standard for Camera
The low-light performance was also on par with the daylight ones. The exposure and color balance were on point even under strong artificial lights. The night mode became significantly better to accommodate extreme low-light shots.
The videography on the iQOO Neo 8 is rated at 8K, 4K, and 1080P at 30fps, 30/60 fps, and 30/60 fps respectively. The gyro-EIS and OIS greatly improve video stabilization.
There’s also a generic 16 MP (f/2.5) front-facing camera that can take decent selfies. The selfie sensor can capture video at 1080P at 30fps.
Processor and Performance
The processor on the iQOO Neo 8 is Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 based on the 4 Nm architecture. This is the same flagship processor from 2 years ago seen on the then-premium smartphones. It's great to see that iQOO is recycling the same flagship-grade processor at a mid-range price point.

The octa-core processor has a 1x3.0 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3x2.5 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4x1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 chip design with Adreno 730 GPU. Considering the performance capability of the 8+ Gen 1, it doesn’t feel like a mid-range smartphone. Games like PUBG, Genshin Impact, and Asphalt 9 ran on the highest graphics settings without any hiccups. The device also did a great job of dissipating the heat. We didn’t notice any thermal throttling during the test.
However, the performance is slightly spoiled by the OS experience. The global variant comes with Funtouch 13 and the Chinese variant comes with OriginOS 3. Either way, the bloatware feels heavy from a stock Android perspective. The 144 Hz refresh rate is a saving grace in an otherwise bloatware-filled OS.
Battery and Charge Time
iQOO Neo 8 comes with 120W proprietary FlashCharge which can be used to charge up the 5000 mAh battery. The brick can charge up the device from 0 to 50% in about 9 minutes. On average, expect an entire day’s usage out of the device with a full charge.
Pros and Cons of the iQOO Neo 8
Pros:
- Excellent display - Ultra-fast charging support - Powerful processor - Stylish design - Good camera system.
Read more: Xiaomi Redmi K70 Review: Mid-range phone with flagship features
Cons:
- No water resistance rating - Lack of wireless and reverse charging facility.
Price of iQOO Neo 8
iQOO Neo 8 is currently available in 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB, and 16/512 GB variants. The prices of the variants are 2,499, 2,799, and 3,099 CNY respectively. The price roughly translates to 38,817, 43,477 and 48,137 BDT respectively. However, the actual price would differ since it is not officially available in Bangladesh yet.
Verdict
The iQOO Neo 8 takes the design and material values from the Neo 7 and brushes up rough edges. The Neo 8 brings incremental updates to the display, processor, and camera. The Neo 7 was already a great value option considering its price. The Neo 8 takes the bar even higher.
It’s downside would be the OS support which still has a long way to go. Besides, the provision of wireless and reverse charging facilities could make it a better deal.

Xiaomi 13T Pro Review: The flagship killer is back
Xiaomi produces a diverse smartphone lineup ranging from basic to flagship devices. These various models are introduced at different times throughout the year. In this legacy, Xiaomi’s 13T Pro was released on September 26, 2023, in the United States and Europe. With its impressive specifications and top-notch performance, 13T Pro has garnered significant attention from tech enthusiasts and consumers. Is this flagship killer smartphone worth buying? Let’s take a look into the specs, pros, cons and price of Xiaomi 13T Pro.
Full Specifications and Features of Xiaomi 13T Pro
Design
The Xiaomi 13T Pro boasts a design that looks premium, making it a standout choice in the smartphone market.
The device features a durable yet lightweight 162.2 mm by 75.7 mm by 8.5 mm build, thanks to the use of ceramic and Gorilla Glass 5. It has earned an IP68 rating, making it dust and water-resistant, capable of withstanding submersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes.

Weighing in at a respectable 206g, except for the even lighter Alpine Blue model at 200g, the Xiaomi 13T Pro combines a 6.67-inch display with a premium aesthetic, despite the polarising reflective back.
Additionally, the transition from a plastic frame to aluminium adds a touch of sophistication to the phone's design, and the tactile power and volume buttons are conveniently placed on the side. While it omits a 3.5mm audio jack, it offers a slim and durable profile, catering to the desires of the modern smartphone user.
Display
The Xiaomi 13T Pro features a top-tier 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, boasting the hallmark vibrant colours and deep blacks of OLED technology, delivering a resolution of 2712 by 1220 pixels for excellent clarity. The 20:9 aspect ratio aligns with contemporary standards, although single-handed use might be less convenient.
A significant upgrade from its precursor, the 12T Pro, is the dynamic 144Hz refresh rate, second only to gaming-specific phones like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Just like the 12T series, 13T also provides Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The LTPO technology enables seamless transitions between 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz, optimising both visuals and conserving battery life.

The screen achieves an impressive maximum brightness of 500 nits, ensuring clear outdoor visibility. While the optical fingerprint sensor offers secure unlocking, its small target area can be a tad finicky. Dual stereo speakers at the top and bottom deliver clear vocals and punchy music, offering an impressive audio experience, though it may fall short in bass performance compared to dedicated gaming phones.
Cameras
The Xiaomi 13T Pro's camera specifications are impressive, showcasing the importance of more than just megapixels. Despite the transition from a 200MP sensor in its predecessor Xiaomi 12T Pro, the 50MP main sensor excels in various lighting conditions, delivering vibrant, detailed, and well-balanced images with effective HDR.
Leica's partnership introduces the Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic modes, providing options for vibrant or true-to-life colour rendering. The camera performs well in low-light settings, although the absence of laser autofocus may lead to occasional focusing challenges.
The camera setup also includes a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide camera, offering versatility.

Video recording options include 4K@60fps and 8K@24fps, with 4K recommended for better image stabilisation.
Additionally, a 20MP front-facing camera with HDR and Night mode. It supports only 1080p video recording which is quite disappointing.
Performance and Software
The Xiaomi 13T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, a departure from the more commonly seen Qualcomm chipsets in Android smartphones. Despite this shift, it's not a downgrade by any means. The Dimensity 9200+ 4nm ranks among MediaTek's most potent chips and is comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Coupled with 12GB of RAM (also available in a 16GB variant), the device delivers excellent performance. In everyday use, ranging from web browsing and messaging to social media, it exhibits swift and seamless operation, easily capable of handling more demanding tasks.

Moreover, by virtue of its high refresh rate display along with the G715 MC11 GPU, the 13T Pro can handle graphically intensive games smoothly, such as Asphalt 9: Legends and Call of Duty: Mobile, etc. The device might get slightly warm during prolonged gaming, but for photo/video editing and split-screen multitasking, it proves highly capable.
Battery and Charger
The Xiaomi 13T Pro is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, offering decent capacity. While it typically provides a day's usage on a full charge for most users, it tends to show low battery warnings after heavy duty use.
Nonetheless, the 13T Pro stands out with its exceptional 120W wired charging support, delivering a 59% charge in just 15 minutes and a full charge within half an hour, making it one of the fastest charging phones in its class.
However, it lacks wireless charging which may dishearten some users.

Price of Xiaomi 13T Pro
The Xiaomi 13T Pro variant with 512GB and 12GB of RAM is priced at $645.00 or BDT 70,953 and the 1TB model with 16GB of RAM is $738.00 or BDT 81,183. The conversion rate is USD 1 equals BDT 110.01.
Bottom Line
The Xiaomi 13T Pro offers a nice package of smart look, robust hardware, high refresh rate, standard display, fast charging technology, etc. In this price range, consumers will expect handy features like better photo quality in front camera, wireless charging, reverse charging, bloatware free operating system, etc. On the whole, Xiaomi offers a balanced package in 13T Pro; but the price is a bit high.

vivo iQOO Neo 8 Pro Review: Is it a value for money smartphone?
vivo’s sub-brand iQOO mainly works on the “flagship killer” category smartphones assuring value and performance for the users. The vivo iQOO Neo 8 Pro was released on 23rd May in China. So how does it differ from the Neo 7 Pro? And is it going to seal the title of flagship killer for 2023? Let’s find out.
Key Specifications of the vivo iQOO Neo 8 Pro
Design and Build Quality
The first thing that stands out is the design and build quality of the smartphone. There are three color variants on the 8 Pro, red, black, and mint. The red one uses a deep orange shade of vegetable tan leather on the back which provides a great texture and hand feel. The rectangular camera housing on the red variant has a distinct carbon fiber-like texture. The contrasting design elements on the back give the device a unique look.
Dimension-wise, the device comes in at 164.7 x 77 x 8.5 mm. The device is on the lighter side at just 192 gm. The even weight distribution makes it easy to hold for a long time without hand fatigue. The frame of the device is made from plastic with a glass front and leather (red) or glass back. There’s no protection rating for the front glass which can be an issue for many users.

The device comes with the standard ports and buttons. Additionally, there’s an IR blaster on top so if you have IoT devices in your home, the phone can serve as a secondary remote. The Type C port and the sim-slot are placed at the bottom. Unfortunately, there’s no micro SDXC support on the 8 Pro. But the 256 GB base variant should be more than ample for most users.
Overall, the 8 Pro is reiterative of the iQOO design elements. It doesn’t reinvent itself much which may very well be its strongest suit in terms of design elements.
Display
The display on the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1260 x 2800 resolution. The unusual resolution brings the display to around 453 ppi with a 20:9 aspect ratio. In addition to that, the display supports 1B colors, 144Hz high refresh rate, HDR10, and 1300 nits of peak brightness.

The high refresh rate combined with the 1.5K resolution makes it a crystal clear sharp display. The chins and perimeter bezels have also been significantly reduced to make way for an 87.5% screen-to-body ratio.
In typical use, the display is perfect for media consumption. The HBM helps with outdoor visibility with reduced glare and sharp contrast. The high refresh rate and touch sampling also elevate the gaming experience on the 8 Pro.
Overall, the display is one of the strong elements of the device. It easily takes one up over the 7 Pro with better resolution and a higher refresh rate.

Motorola Edge 40 Review: Is it a flagship killer?
There was a time when Motorola was considered the king of flip phones in the early days of mobile tech. Since then, the company has evolved with time and introduced traditional smartphones in the market. Particularly, the Edge series from Motorola has been a hit in the mid-range market. This year Motorola released the updated Edge 40 on 4th May 2023 globally. Here’s a detailed take on the device.
Key Specifications of Motorola Edge 40
Design and Build Quality
The Motorola Edge 40 can be considered an incremental update over the Edge 30. Other than some slight changes in the camera housing, not much has changed from the previous gen.
Users will be getting a front glass, metal frame, and plastic back with the Edge 40. The plastic back is matte frosted to give it a glass-like finish. The matte frost comes in two finishes distinguishing the camera housing from the rest of the back. Users will also get a faux leather option for a more textured and refined hand experience.
Weighing about 5.89 oz (167g- 171g), Motorola Edge 40’s dimensions are 158.4 by 72 by 7.6 mm. This device seems easy to manage with one hand. It comes withIP68 dust and water resistance that can protect up to 1.5m for about 30 min.
Read more: Xiaomi Poco F5 Pro 5G Review: What’s new?
Motorola has marketed its Edge series as premium mid-range devices. Features like curved edges and near bezel-less display are seen on the Edge 40 which are otherwise reserved for premium flagships.
The choice of ports and buttons hasn’t altered from the last gen. Though the placement of the volume rocker and the power button on the same side and in close proximity will make way for misclicks here and there. This year, there have been changes with the sim placement as well. The Edge 40 will support a single physical sim with the secondary sim being an e-sim option.
Overall, the Edge 40 stays true to the Motorola basics. And the tried and tested formula will definitely appeal to long-term fans of the brand.
The Display
Being an upper midrange device, the choice of display plays a crucial role to stand out from a host of other options. Thankfully, the Edge 40 understood the drill. The device comes with a 6.55-inches P-OLED display with FHD+ (1080 by 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio and 402 ppi density) resolution.
Read more: Asus ROG Strix G16 Review: Is it a value for money gaming laptop?
The panel supports HDR10+ with a 144 Hz smooth refresh rate. Additionally, there is a 1200 nits HBM on the display for perfect outdoor legibility.
Motorola went all out on the display segment and it played out big time. Using the display is an absolute breeze with smooth touch response and a near-stock Android experience. The color renditions are accurate with slightly warm hues. It can be easily calibrated from the settings to a cooler tone depending on preference. The display is easily the best in its price segment. And if media consumption is the priority, the Edge 40 can be an easy choice.
The Camera
There is a dual camera setup on the Edge 40. It might be considered a step down from the Edge 30 as the previous model had a triple camera setup. However, there is more to it than just the megapixels and number of sensors.
Motorola used an updated 50 MP (f/1.4) main sensor with a larger aperture than the outgoing model. The 13 MP (f/2.2) ultrawide sensor has been upgraded to a 120-degree field of view for those fish eye effect shots.

Oppo A95 Review: Budget Flagship Killer or a Mid-range Camera Phone?
Oppo has been one of the forerunners of the mid-range smartphone market of Bangladesh. Some of the previous offerings from the brand have been hugely popular in the mid-range device market. The Oppo A95 follows suit on that. The phone was released in November 2021. Premium build quality, stylish looks, powerful camera, and a capable processor. And not to mention the beautiful dual-tone back finish. Is this the new flagship killer in a budget? Let’s find out.
Key Features of Oppo A95
Design and Build Quality
The design of the A95 is nothing revolutionary. Oppo stood by the proven and tested design formula from its previous devices, especially the Reno 6Z.
The back features a matte finish with a dual sparkle coating. It gives the phone its prism-like appearance under the light where it shifts colors. It gives a unique look to the back. The back might look like frosted glass, however, it is just coated plastic. The side of the phone is made from polycarbonate which gives the phone a strong frame. Other than that, there are not any remarkable features to the design and build quality.
Read Upcoming Phones in December 2021 in Bangladesh
The camera module sits on the top left corner with a slight bump. The rectangular module does not look out of place rather blends well with the overall design elements. The right side of the device features the power button. On the left side, there is the volume rocker. The bottom houses a single firing speaker grill, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a charging port.
The phone is available in three colors – fluid black, cosmo blue, and silver.
Display
The display is a strong aspect of the Oppo A95. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ display. The screen is an AMOLED panel that gets adequately bright at around 430 nits. The display peaks out at 800 nits under direct sunlight. That makes for a clear view even in outdoor conditions.
Read Best Official Smartphones under 30000 Taka in Bangladesh in 2021
AMOLED displays have slowly made their way into the mid-range device over the years. The same holds for the Oppo A series phones. Though it is an AMOLED panel, there is nothing off the top here. The display has a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. The display does get bright but the colors look somewhat dull. It has more to do with the stock setting rather than the display itself. Users can tweak the sRGB color gamut to suit their color preference on the device. However, the viewing angles are decent on this device. The lower bezel is a bit prominent by 2021 standard, but it is not a deal-breaker.
Camera
There is a triple camera setup on the Oppo A95. The main sensor is a 48 MP f/1.7 wide-angle shooter. There is also a 2 MP ultrawide sensor along with a 2 MP depth sensor. But to be honest, only the main sensor shines on this device. The other two sensors are not on par with the industry standards.
The camera module is complemented by an LED flash, HDR, and panorama. The camera has gyro-EIS for stable videography. It can shoot up to 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 120 fps. The cameras perform well in well-lit conditions. It is nothing out of the ordinary but gets the job done. However, expect to see some noise on pictures in indoor conditions. The night mode does a decent job of masking the low lights, but a certain part of the pictures looks overexposed.
Read Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Smartwatch Review with Price in Bangladesh
The front camera has a 16 MP f/2.4 aperture. It is the same as previous A series phones from Oppo. Just like the back camera, the front can also take decent wide-angle shots in bright conditions. So, no worries about selfies.
Processor and Performance
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 662. The chip is built on a more power-demanding 11 nm structure. The chip is an octa-core processor with 4 2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold and 4 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver. The chip is complemented by an Adreno 610 GPU. The CPU and GPU are powered by 8 GB RAM with an option of 128 or 256 GB of ROM.
Other connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC are all present. There is a proprietary fingerprint sensor under the display. However, it is a bit slow compared to its competitors.
Read Best Phones under 20000 Taka in Bangladesh in 2021
The processor handles day-to-day tasks pretty well. It is by no means a gaming phone. Although the phone can handle light gaming without much hassle. While playing graphic-intensive titles like PUBG and Asphalt 9, there are frame drops here and there and the phone does get heated pretty fast. The GPU can handle graphics pretty well, but the outdated processor lets it down on the gaming front.
This phone is aimed at more casual users. People will use it for day-to-day simple tasks with the prime focus being on the camera. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS 11 skin on top. Overall, it makes a decent user experience. However, android purists will have a hard time adjusting to the bloatware present in the OS.
Battery and Charge time
Oppo included a 5000 mAh battery with the A95. The battery is standard as expected from a mid-range phone on a power-consuming 11 nm processor architecture. Expect to get around 6 to 7 hours of SoT with normal usage. The battery is coupled with a 30W VOOC 2.0 fast charger. Oppo claims that it is possible to go from zero to 54% in just 30 minutes.

Price of Oppo A95 in Bangladesh
The retail price of Oppo A95 is 22,990 BDT. The phone is officially available in all the Oppo retail stores across Bangladesh.
Verdict
The Oppo A95 hits the sweet spot among the mid-range smartphones. The beautiful AMOLED panel coupled with a decent camera module makes it an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts. It might not be a gaming device by any means, but it handles day-to-day tasks very well. The phone can be a perfect choice for those looking for a good-looking camera phone within a budget.

OnePlus 9R review: Is it a flagship killer?
From its first released smartphone to the latest releases, OnePlus has surely impacted the modern smartphone market. Patrons have seen the company introducing flagship killer devices one after another. However, for the last few months, it seems, the company has derailed from its original mission. It is more like OnePlus is concentrating on making flagship products. The same effort we can see in one of its latest releases OnePlus 9R model. Though the phone borrows many of its features from a few other prior releases, the phone still has its own uniqueness. This OnePlus 9R review will go through all that details. Keep tuned.
OnePlus 9R Review - Feature by Feature
Design
When it comes to smartphone design, OnePlus has always been a standout choice. If you long for a device with a unique design, the phone can disappoint you. But if you want an unobtrusive handset, the OnePlus 9R can be your pick. Both the front and backside of this phone are built with Gorilla Glass 5. And, the body frame is built with Aluminum.

Lake Blue and Carbon Black are the two 'sophisticated' color options made available for the OnePus 9R. It has a glossy back with a curved design on both sides and a OnePlus logo in the center. The glass back doesn't collect a lot of fingerprints, so you don't have to clean it every hour.
The camera sensors are located in the upper left corner of the device. The power button and alert slider are on the left edge, the volume rocker keys are on the right, and the speaker grille, dual SIM slot, and USB-C connector are on the bottom.
There are no issues with the positioning or functionality of these buttons and ports.

Display
The OnePlus 9R features a screen that is identical to that of the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 9. It is a flat 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+. It will give you a quick and responsive display experience as the refresh rate is high.
The overall color reproduction is good, and the contrast levels are likewise suitable. A special 'Vibrant Color Effect' is available under the display options, which is claimed to optimize video colors and contrast to make it look more vivid. In addition, users can tweak the display's color temperature as well as the refresh rate.
To capture a selfie, you will get a punch-hole camera on top of the display.

Software and Performance
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the OnePlus 9R. According to Qualcomm, it is more powerful than last year's flagship processor, the Snapdragon 865+. And it sits just below this year's most powerful CPU, the Snapdragon 888. Combined with a powerful GUI, it will let users play all the high config games with much comfort.
OnePlus 9R's is smooth in day-to-day operation, and users won't experience any lagging or frame freezing.
Apps opening, switching between them, or browsing the internet for hours with multiple apps running in the background, the handset responds quickly to all types of actions.
The phone is backed by Android 11 with the OxygenOS 11.2 UI custom overlay. On the smartphone, you can change the theme, text color, icon shapes, and font.
The OnePlus 9R features a 40 Hz touch sampling rate that allows users to utilize up to five fingers simultaneously, as well as an X-axis linear motor that can be tweaked to provide dynamic vibration that can imitate different forms of in-game vibrations.
Lenses and Captures
The OnePlus 9R falls short slightly in capability compared to its other OnePlus 9 siblings, and its camera specs are identical to those of the OnePlus 8T model from last year. Starting with the selfie camera, users will have a 16MP sensor that captures detailed but soft photographs even when the beautiful setting is turned off.

A quad-camera configuration on the rear features a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera with 6P lens glass, OIS, EIS, and f/1.7 aperture. Additionally, it includes a 16MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123-degree field of view, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens.
In terms of image quality, you don't get the Hasselblad-infused dedicated features, but you do get an overall well-balanced output.
The images captured in the daylight are vivid and bright — with just the right amount of color reproduction.
The ultrawide angle sensor exhibits slight distortion, but nothing glaring. The detail in the zoomed-in shots is also excellent.
Battery and Charger
The OnePlus 9R presents a 4500mAh mid-powered battery and a 65W fast charger. Depending on your usage, which ranges from moderate to heavy, you should be able to get a full day's worth of use or more without having to run to the charger every few hours.
The superfast charger takes only around 45 minutes to fill up the empty battery. However, it shares an older design with a Type-A port rather than the Type-C port found on other OnePlus 9 models.

Though Wifi and mobile network performs well, sometimes you may face difficulties to listen clearly during calls. OnePlus 9R’s Oxygen OS is criticized for its bugs that cause diverse issues. Not to mention, OnePlus should be careful about the software stability issue. And, the price tag of OnePlus 9R questions its label of ‘Flagship Killer’.
In terms of specs, the device is similar to the OnePlus 8T, or Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, or Redmi K40 Pro, which are currently cheaper than the OnePlus 9R. Unless you are a diehard fan of OnePlus, this phone isn't recommended. However, if you want a good-looking phone that ticks all the necessary boxes, there's a lot to like about it.

POCO X3 Pro: Review of Key Features
Design
POCO X3 Pro maintains its bulky structure featuring about 9.4mm width and 215g weight, which we have got in the predecessor X3. It may be uncomfortable for many people to hold the X3 Pro with one hand. Except for the front glass, the device is built with plastic material (or Glasstic). It has IP53 certified dust and splash protection feature.
On the right side, POCO X3 Pro has the volume rocker and a side-mounted power button. The power button also serves as a fingerprint scanner. On the left side, there is a SIM card tray with a Hybrid slot for a Micro SD card. So, you either use two SIMs or insert one SIM and a memory card at a time.
The upper edge holds a secondary noise-cancellation microphone, IR bluster, and speaker grill. The bottom edge is packed with the main speaker, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Its bezels are thin. On the top center of the display, it bears a punch-holed selfie camera. POCO X3 Pro has several color options like Phantom Black, Metal Bronze, and Frost Blue.

Display
Here you get 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen. It offers a Full HD display featuring 1080 by 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 ratio with ~395 ppi density. The front screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It offers HDR 10 support.
The color reproduction is satisfactory but still, it lags behind the vibrant colors offered by the AMOLED screens. It is somewhat disappointing, as several low-priced competitors (like Redmi Note 10) are offering AMOLED screens in this price range.
Like the ancestor POCO X3, the Pro version sports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate! You can enjoy a butter-smooth navigating experience by virtue of its high refresh rate option. Its touch response is awesome.
In this phone, POCO provides 450 nits typical and 534 nits peak brightness. It maintains standards allowing you to work outdoor conveniently. But we have seen similar specs in X3. An updated brightness level could make X3 Pro a better deal!
In the Pro version, people will definitely expect some advanced features. Compared with its ancestor X3 NFC, the X3 Pro doesn’t offer major up-gradations in the display section. But still, the large display can be helpful for watching media or participating in virtual class/meetings.

Camera
PCO X3 Pro embodies quad rear camera series that includes 48MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro and 2MP depth camera. Certainly, it is a downgrade from POCO X3’s 64MP wide and 13MP ultra-wide sensors. On the front side of X3 Pro, there is a 20MP selfie shooter.
The main rear camera features a 48MP IMX 582 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. In ample daylight condition, you can capture mind-blowing photos with enough details, close-to-natural color, and a nice dynamic range. Its low-light images also maintain a standard quality. In the shadow areas of the image, the objects may lose some details and color-contrast may increase. But still, the photos look attractive.
Its 8MP ultra-wide camera offers 119 degrees of field-of-view with an aperture of f/2.2. This sensor can take pretty photos maintaining dynamic range, details, and astonishing color vibration. However, in low light conditions, the image quality is comparatively poor.
The rest two cameras both feature a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. These sensors deliver average performance.
Read Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro Review: Decent Camera with Smooth Gaming
You can shoot a maximum of 4K videos at 30fps. The quality of the video is quite satisfactory. However, the provision of shooting options at 60fps could make this gadget more useful. In this phone, the GYRO EIS stabilization feature works effectively. X3 Pro offers a dual video mode option that means you can shoot videos with both front and back cameras at a time. Besides this, it has a Time Lapse video option which can be helpful for Vloggers.
The front camera features a 20MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. This camera is built with Samsung ISOCELL plus S5K3T2 sensor. In presence of proper lights, this sensor can capture good photos with proper edge detection and color punches. The color tones are close to natural. You can also apply beauty mode to smoothen the skin tones. However, the quality of images may reduce a bit in low-light situations. Still, the images are social media-ready and eye-catching. With the front camera, you can capture 1080pfootage at 30fps.

Performance: Software and Hardware
POCO X3 Pro has been globally launched in three variants; those are 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256GB. You can insert a memory card into this phone and extend the storage up to 1 TB. Here POCO offers UFS 3.1 data transfer technology which is an up-gradation from X3 NFC’s UFS 2.1 mechanism.
POCO X3 Pro runs by MIUI 12 OS for POCO on top of Android 11. Compared with the other Xiaomi phones, POCO MIUI 12 operating system is cleaner and faster. The clever hardware-software optimization boosts up the performance of this phone.
In the processor section, POCO X3 Pro’s octa-core processor is blessed with Qualcomm Snapdragon’s 860 chipset built on 7nm architecture. In its octa-core CPU, you get one Kryo 485 Gold core with a maximum clock speed of 2.96 GHz; and three other Kryo 485 Gold cores feature 2.42 GHz clock speed. And, the rest four Kryo 485 Silver cores offer a maximum of 1.78 GHz clock speed. In the graphic unit, this POCO phone offers Adreno 640 GPU.
You can smoothly do multi-tasking and regular tasks with this gadget. Even after running several apps in the background the mobile works fine. Both the fingerprint scanner and face unlock works very fast.
POCO X3 Pro comes with an exceptional feature called 'surround sound experience'. By virtue of this feature, you can clearly hear the sound, even if the phone is placed several feet away. Whether you are watching a web series/movie/song or playing a game, the sound quality of POCO X3 is breathtaking!

For heavy-duty gamers, POCO X3 Pro can be a nice choice. You can play PUBG at Ultra HD graphics at an Ultra frame rate. Surprisingly, at high-level settings, the game runs smoothly without experiencing any lags or frame drops. Even after hours of continuous gaming, you can hardly face any stuttering. The COD games can be playable on this device at ‘Very High’ graphics under ‘Max’ frame rate. The intelligent hardware-software optimization of X3 Pro can make the game lively and superbly enjoyable. The Asphalt 9 game also runs smoothly on this Smartphone.
After a long time of gaming, the device may catch some heat. But don’t worry! Its advanced cooling mechanism reduces the temperature shortly.
This phone supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, and 5GHz. The call quality is good.
Overall, the outstanding performance of X3 Pro makes it a true flagship killer.
Battery
POCO X3 Pro is powered by a 5160mAh non-removable battery. It is a downgrade from X3’s 6000 mAh battery. However, still X3 Pro can provide one to two days of backup depending upon usage.
Poco X3 Pro is supported by a 33W charger. It takes about half an hour to acquire 59% charge; while about one hour time is required to fully recharge this phone.

Verdict
So far we have reviewed the key aspects of the POCO X3 Pro Smartphone. It offers a powerful processor that assists in magnificent gaming performance. Its camera series also delivers amazing photos. POCO X3 Pro is efficient for both gaming and photography. Furthermore, advanced data transfer technology elevates the performance of this device. And, the surround sound experience feature provides brilliant performance while watching media, or playing games. What is more? X3 Pro’s higher refresh rate combined with an awesome touch sampling rate makes the user experience fantastic.
On the downside, POCO X3 Pro comes with a bulky structure, IPS display, and low pixel density. In this price range, POCO fans would definitely expect an AMOLED display with adequate brightness, and a trendy slick design.
