Organised as part of celebrations to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence, a special dance show enthralled the audience at the National Theatre Hall on Friday.

 

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Sunday emphasised spreading the message of Bangabandhu's historic March 7 speech at home and abroad and encouraged youngsters to get inspired by it and play roles in building ‘Sonar Bangla’. 

The newly declared full-fledged committee of Jubo League paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Sunday.

Siddiqur Rahman, the current Vice-President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and newly appointed Awami League (AL) Industry and Commerce Secretary, placed floral wreaths at the mural of Bangabandhu at Road No. 32 on Sunday.

The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC), High Commission of India in Dhaka organized a virtual poem recitation event “Tribute to Bangabandhu- Kobir Konthey Kobita (Poems by Poets)” in collaboration with the Bongiya Shahitya Sangskriti Samsad (Bangiya Society for Literature and Culture) on Tuesday.
