A fire that broke out at a 6-storey building housing a furniture showroom in the city's Baridhara J Block on Sunday afternoon was doused by fire fighters. Sources at the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters said the fire started on the 4th floor of the Vitra Furniters showroom building at around 4:24 pm.
