The news of celebrated actor-director Aly Zaker’s death was received with shock and sadness with the entertainment industry and the general people alike expressing grief at the passing away of the Ekushey Padak recipient on Friday.

Ekushey Padak recipient Aly Zaker, a member of the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, passed away on Friday morning at the age of 76.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Ekushey Padak recipient, eminent cultural personality and member of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra Aly Zaker.
