Rohingya shot dead in Cox’s Bazar
A Rohingya man was shot dead in a reported gunfight between two factions of Rohingya at Nayapara in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Sunday night, police said on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Ibrahim, son of Abdur Razzak of the upazila. He was a supporter of ‘Jakir Bahini’ a Rohingya criminal gang.
Hasan Bari Nur, commanding officer of APBn-16, two Rohingya criminal gangs exchanged gunfire in the Rohingya camp on Sunday night.
On information, a team of APBn rushed to the spot and found Ibrahim injured with bullets.

Later, he was taken to the local hospital where doctors referred him to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.
Ibrahim died on way to Cox’s Bazar hospital.
Police are investigating the incident and trying to arrest the culprits, said police.

Rohingya man shot dead in Cox’s Bazar
A Rohingya man was shot dead allegedly by miscreants at Ukhiya Balur Math camp in Cox’s Bazar early Thursday, said police.
The deceased was identified as Salimullah, a resident of the camp and a volunteer of the camp.

A group of miscreants opened fire on Salimullah, leaving him injured, said Sheikh Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge of Ukhia Police Station.
Later, he was taken to Sadar hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Police recovered the body Thursday morning.

Rohingya leader's killing: 1 suspect held
The Armed Police Battalion on Friday arrested a Rohingya man on suspicion of his being involved in the killing of Rohingya leader Mohib Ullah in Cox’s Bazar.
The arrestee was identified as Md Selim alias Lomba Selim, 27, a Rohingya citizen living in Ukhiya Rohingya camp.

SP Naimul Haque, commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalion, said APBN members arrested the suspect from Camp-6 at Kutupalong in Ukhiya upazila around 11am.
Later, he was handed over to Ukhikya Police Station, said the SP.
Earlier on Thursday night, police have registered a murder case in connection with the killing of Rohingya leader Mohib Ullah at Ukhiya camp in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday night.
The FIR for murder was filed against unknown persons at the Ukhiya police station on on a complaint from Mohib Ullah’s brother Habib Ullah, said officer-in-charge Sanjur Morshed.
Unknown assailants gunned down Mohib on Wednesday night. He was first rushed to a local medical facility and later shifted to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

He was buried in Lambashia camp-1 in Ukhiya upazila on Thursday afternoon after his namaz-e-janaza, which was attended by a large number of Rohingya refugees from camps in Ukhiya and Teknaf upazilas.
Formerly a teacher in Myanmar, the slain activist was popularly known as Master Mohib Ullah among the Rohingya refugees. He was the head of Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights (ARSPH) at Kutupalong camp.

'Alhamdulillah, more than happy with Bhasan Char facilities': Rohingya man
Sayed Ullah, one of the Rohingyas landed in Bhasan Char on Friday, could not hold his feelings of extreme happiness seeing all the facilities there and kept calling relatives back in Cox's Bazar camps to join the next batch.
