The Embassy of South Korea held a meeting on Thursday with Korean companies having presence in Bangladesh and discussed trade and investment issues. An expert from KPMG was also invited to the meeting to give a briefing on Bangladesh’s taxation system and important tax-related issues for doing business in Bangladesh. Speakers at a webinar on Tuesday sought stronger trade partnership and collaboration between Bangladesh and South Korea; and suggested exploring a free-trade agreement (FTA) between the two countries.
