A fire broke out in the factory of a pharmaceutical company in Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur Monday noon. The fire started in a factory of Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd around 12pm, said Saiful Islam, station officer of Kaliakoir Fire Service. A fire broke out in a garment jhut( waste fabric) godown at Kathaltola area of Konabari in Gazipur on Friday, fire service said. The fire originated around 4:30pm from Khokon Mia’s godown and spread out soon to five to seven more adjacent godowns.
