Bangladesh a regional leader, economic force in S Asia: US
US Department of State’s Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Dean Thompson has said Bangladesh continues an impressive journey as a regional leader and an economic force in South Asia, and laid emphasis on working together to realize many opportunities in the next 50 years.
“Let’s work together to realize many opportunities in the next 50 years (that) our partnership will surely bring,” he said while addressing a function as guest of honour.
The Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs said Bangladesh and the USA will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of formal diplomatic ties in the coming year – 2022.
