This tournament is unique because it involves multi-game competitions where each club can compete in several games. It runs from July 31 to August 4, with 32 top-tier teams—invited and qualified—competing. The format includes a Group Stage with two groups of twenty teams, where the top nine from each group advance to the Finals, while 10th-19th place teams fight in an LCQ for the remaining spots. Counter-Strike The Counter-Strike 2 competition at the 2024 Esports World Cup in Riyadh takes place from July 17 to 21, with 15 teams vying for a $1 million prize pool. Teams include invitees like Team Spirit and Natus Vincere, top ESL-ranked teams such as G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, and MOUZ, plus regional qualifiers MIBR, FlyQuest, The MongolZ, and JijieHao.
