The 2025 ALGS Championship will be the franchise’s fourth installment, and for the first time, Japan will host the championship. Game manufacturing giants EA, in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment, will organize the event. It will start with 40 teams, which will be divided into 10 groups. Each group will have 4 teams, which will fight each other to advance to the next step. There will be 18 games in the group stage; they will run from 28 January to 30 January. The score obtained in the group stage will permit 20 eligible teams to step into the Bracket Stage. Those 20 teams will compete in the Match Point Format. The first team to reach 50 points will be deemed the winner of the tournament. The other teams will find positions according to the total score. PUBG MOBILE Global Open The PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO), the first major LAN event of the 2025 season, will take place in Uzbekistan. Announced by James Yang, Senior Director of the Global Esports Center at Level Infinite, during gamescom LATAM, the event’s exact date, and venue are yet to be revealed. This marks the first time Uzbekistan will host an international esports event, though it has an established PUBG MOBILE ecosystem with tournaments like the Uzbekistan Cup.
