Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that the BNP postponed its programme on the golden jubilee of independence as the party will face an embarrassing situation over some settled issues of history. He virtually attended the programme from his official residence while President of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League presided over the programme.
