Professor Dr Mahmood Hossain of the Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Khulna University.  A  gazette notification was issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education today in this regard. The appointment has been made as per the approval of the President in accordance with the Khulna University Act 1990. Dr Hossain has become the 12th VC of the university.
