Bangladesh reports 2 Covid deaths, 549 cases
Bangladesh reported two more Covid-linked deaths with 549 fresh cases in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
The country's total fatalities rose to 29,374 with the new deaths. The new cases raised the country's total caseload to 2,028,114, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 13.86 per cent from Tuesday’s 13.80 per cent as 3,961 samples were tested.
The latest deceased were men from Dhaka and Khulna divisions.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent and recovery rate dropped to 97. percent.
In September, the country reported 40 Covid-linked deaths and 13,251 cases.

Covid positivity rate rises to 15.42 in Bangladesh; Another dies
Bangladesh reported another Covid-linked death with 737 fresh cases in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
With the new numbers, country's total fatalities rose to 29,360 while the total caseload to 2,023,145, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 15.42 per cent from Monday’s 13.58 per cent as 4,781 samples were tested.
The latest deceased was a woman from Rangpur division.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 per cent while the recovery rate declined to 97.06 per cent respectively.

In August, the country reported 32 Covid-linked deaths and 6,689 cases.

Covid positivity rate rises to 14.73% in Bangladesh
Bangladesh reported 641 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
With no new deaths reported country's total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,345 while with the new caseload rose to 2,019,470, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate rose to 14.73 per cent from Tuesday’s 12.73 per cent as 4,351 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate dropped to 97.13 per cent.

Covid-19: Positivity rate rises to 11.03%, One more dies
Bangladesh registered one Covid-linked death day with 874 fresh cases in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
This is the second Covid-linked death of the current month.

The daily-case positivity rate rose to 11.03 per cent from Monday’s 10.87 per cent as 7,893 samples were tested during the period.
The country’s total caseload rose to 1,958,074 while the total fatalities reached 29,133 with the new numbers, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The deceased was a man, aged 71-80, hailing from Dhaka division.
The mortality rate remained static at 1.49 per cent. The recovery rates declined to 97.34 per cent from Monday’s 97.38 per cent as 84 patients recovered during this period.
On Monday, the country logged the first Covid-linked death in the current month with 873 cases. The previous death was recorded on May 30.
In May, the country reported only four Covid-linked deaths and 816 new cases, while 7,356 patients recovered from the disease, according to the DGHS.
Among the four deaths during the period, one was vaccinated with single dose of Covid vaccine while three were vaccinated with two doses.

Rise in Covid cases: Bangladesh reports 596 more cases with positivity rate surging to 7.38pc
The positivity rate kept rising as Bangladesh recorded 596 new Covid cases in 24 hours till Sunday morning taking the country's total caseload to 1,956,327.
The country's total fatalities, however, remained unchanged at 29,131 as no death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Covid-19: Positivity rate at 6.27 pc with 433 cases, zero death
Amid surging positivity rate Bangladesh recorded 433 new Covid cases in 24 hours till Friday morning taking the country's total caseload to 1,955,427, the health directorate said.
The country's total fatalities, however, remained unchanged at 29,131 as no death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily test positivity rate rose to 6.27 per cent from Thursday’s 5.76 cent with 6,905 samples tested during the period.
The country on Thursday saw 357 cases with zero death.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.49 per cent. The recovery rates declined to 97.46 per cent as 93 patients recovered during this period.

Covid-19: Bangladesh sees lowest positivity rate at 0.18% since 2020
Bangladesh reported four new Covid cases in 24 hours until Thursday morning which took its total caseload to 1,952,747.
With no new Covid death reported during this period the country's total fatalities from the pandemic remained unchanged at 29,127, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The daily positivity rate dropped to 0.18 percent, the lowest since the pandemic broke out here, from Wednesday’s 0.60 per cent as 2,226 samples were tested.

Besides, the recovery rate rose to 97.13 percent as 257 patients recovered during this period.
In April, the country reported only five Covid-linked deaths and 1,114 new cases, while 14,100 patients recovered from the disease, according to the DGHS.
Among the five deaths during the period, two were unvaccinated patients while three were vaccinated with two doses of the Covid vaccine.

Bangladesh logged 35 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours till Thursday morning, taking the total caseload to 19,52,197.
As per the latest government data, the country’s total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,124 as no deaths were reported during the period.
