Bangladesh Championship League: Wari, Fortis play out 1-1 draw
Wari Club and Fortis Academy split points Thursday after their Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2022-23 clash in the capital ended in a 1-1 draw.
At the Birshreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur, Riaz put Wari in front in the 48th minute (1-0) after a barren first half in the day's only BCL match.

Sabbir found the back of the net for Fortis Academy in the 79th minute (1-1).
The eighth-round matches of the BCL will begin Friday at the same venue. Gopalganj Sporting Club will play Swadhinata Krira Shangha at 10:30am; BFF Elite Football Academy will face NoFel Sporting Club at 3pm.

Sk Russel Football: Wari Club to play Hatirjheel Club in final on Friday
Wari Club will play Hatirjheel Club in the final match of the Sheikh Russel Gold Cup U-18 Football Tournament on Friday.
The match will kick-off at 3 pm at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur here.
Home Minister Asaduzzman Khan will be the chief guest at the final match, organized by Sheikh Russel Jatiya Shisu Kishore Parishad and sponsored by Saif Powertek Limited.
A total of 32 teams took part in the tournament that began on September 30 at the same venue.

BCL Football: Wari beat Dhaka 2-0; Pragati overpower Youngmen's 2-1
Wari Club registered a 2-0 victory over Dhaka City FC in the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 at the Kamalapur Stadium Thursday.
Ali put Wari Club ahead in the 36th minute while Arafat scored the second goal for the winners in the 43rd minute.
In the day's other match, Kawran Bazar Pragati Sangha overpowered Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club 2-1 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the afternoon.

Kankar Biswas scored first for Fakirerpool in the ninth minute while Saddam levelled the margin for Pragati Sangha in the 54th minute.
Saddam again came forward to score the match-winning goal for Pragati in the stoppage time (90+4 minute).
