Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro Review: Is it a value for money device?
Redmi, no doubt, is one of the most budget-friendly smartphone brands in this era. They always try to amaze the users by introducing new phones from time to time. And this time, they have brought out the K40 series to keep the competitors on the move. Today we will discuss the newest Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro, which can be the best choice considering the value for money. Before getting into the details of the phone, let's enlighten you about the drawbacks of this phone so that you can make your buying decision.
Key Features of Xiaomi Redmi K40 pro
Design
To begin with the design, the K40 Pro is almost similar to the previous version, K40. However, it has an excellent weight with a proportionate size. It is light with a better main camera and a better chipset. Unlike the K40, this model does not come with the black version. Instead, it offers the newest Damascus-pattern version, which is exclusive. Since we will have to discuss other features, we are not going into deep for the design portion.

Performance
K40 Pro uses the Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is similar to Mi 11, and set up a huge benchmark on the performance. On the other hand, Mi Note 10 Pro uses the Snapdragon 730G. Therefore, the K40 pro will get you better performance while gaming. Besides, K40's optimization is much better than the Mi 11.
However, in terms of CPU monitor temperature, K40 has less performance than the Note 10 Pro. In a test, it has been found that the K40 Pro can get up to 47 degrees Celsius when you use it for a long time. On the other hand, the Note 10 Pro performed better, and the temperature remains at 42 degrees Celsius.
Camera
Redmi K40 has the Sony IMX686 sensor. Besides, it offers a triple camera of 64, 8, and 5 megapixels, which is less functional than Mi 11 and Note 10 Pro's 108-megapixel camera. But the color style is almost similar to the Mi 11. However, both of these models can present a cooler tone. Nevertheless, K40 Pro's high saturation with good contrast can beat the other two models.
When it comes to night shooting, K40 Pro is slightly behind other competitors. But, K40 Pro is stable in terms of color correction. However, in terms of the high-resolution photo capturing, all three phones produce almost the same quality photo.

Battery
K40 Pro has a Li-Po 4520 mAh battery with fast-charging capabilities. According to the advertisement, it can get a full charge in 52 mins, and 70% of the battery will get charged in just 30 minutes. On the other hand, the Note 10 Pro has a massive Li-Po 5260 mAh battery and Mi 11 Li-Po 4600 mAh battery. So, it is evident that the K40 Pro slightly falls behind in terms of camera. But you can use the phone for a long time with that battery capacity. However, the Snapdragon 888 can offer better efficiency for K40 Pro in terms of power consumption.

Speaker
Both K40 Pro and Mi 11 have the same dual speaker with the Dolby certification and have the same quality sound output. Therefore, the sound quality is pretty impressive on K40 Pro and left no point to compare. However, it doesn't have a 3.5 mm feature but can get you the loudspeaker with the stereo speakers.
Memory
The K40 Pro is loaded with 6 GB and 8GB RAM and comes with two variations of internal memory, 258 GB and 258 GB. So, you don't need to put any extra micro-SD card, though it doesn't come with any. However, the Note 10 Pro offers only one variation, which is 8GB RAM and 256 GB ROM. The Mi 11 comes with 8 GB and 12 GB RAM and offers 128 and 256 GB internal memory.

Redmi K40 Pro Drawbacks
Although Redmi K40 Pro comes with many latest features, it has some cons too. Most of the phones nowadays come with wireless charging, while the K40 doesn't offer a wireless charging facility. Further, the battery is non-removable. However, we guess it is okay as all the latest phones come with a fixed battery. Surprisingly this phone does not come with the face unlock feature, while its nearest price range, phone MI Note 10, has it. It doesn't come with a micro-SD card slot, but you will get 128 GB and 256 GB internal memory. You will not get 3.5mm support for the audio. In the case of the camera, some people may find the 8MP ultrawide is weak.
Verdict
So, here is our Redmi K40 Pro review. You should already know if it is worth buying. Considering all the facts and features, it is a good budget phone within this price range who wants a fast speed as well as a good camera with a massive memory.
