Tecno Spark 30 Pro Review: Power-packed Performance at a Budget-friendly Price
Tecno, known for delivering affordable smartphones with excellent features, has consistently impressed with its Spark series. Tecno’s latest innovation, Spark 30 Pro, released in October 2024, aims to continue this legacy with enhanced camera, display, and processing capabilities.
Key Features of Tecno Spark 30 Pro
.
Design and Build Quality
The Tecno Spark 30 Pro has a sleek, modern look with dimensions of 166.6 mm by 77 mm by 7.4 mm. It is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance, adding durability rarely seen in this price range. The Pro model feels more premium than its predecessor, the Spark 30, which has a plastic frame. The Spark 30 Pro’s lighter build makes it comfortable to hold, though the similarly priced competitor vivo Y28’s glass front provides a more substantial feel.
Display Quality
One of the Spark 30 Pro’s strongest features is its display. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1700 nits, which means vibrant colours, deep contrasts, and high visibility outdoors. The 1080 by 2436-pixel resolution offers clear visuals, making it ideal for media streaming.
Compared to the Spark 30’s 90Hz IPS LCD with 800nits maximum brightness, the Pro model’s AMOLED display is a significant upgrade in both colour accuracy and brightness. The vivo Y28 and Oppo A60, with their 90Hz IPS LCDs with lower resolutions and brightness levels (840 and 950 nits, respectively), fall short of the Tecno Spark 30 Pro in display quality.

Camera Performance
The Tecno Spark 30 Pro boasts a 108MP (f/1.9) primary camera, an impressive resolution for a budget-friendly phone. The large sensor captures detailed images with good colour accuracy and dynamic range, even in low light. Additional features like quad-LED flash and HDR enhance versatility, and the camera records video at up to 1440p resolution.
In comparison, the Spark 30 has a 64MP primary camera, which performs decently but lacks the clarity and low-light ability of the Spark 30 Pro. The vivo Y28 and Oppo A60 come with 50MP cameras and depth sensors, which aid portrait shots but do not match the Spark 30 Pro’s overall quality. Considering the price range, in the photography section, the Tecno Spark 30 Pro stands out.
Processor Performance
The Spark 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100, a 6nm chipset with an octa-core setup (two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores). This processor handles everyday tasks smoothly, offering better multitasking and app load times than the 12nm Helio G91 12nm chipset found in the Spark 30.
Read more: Infinix Hot 50 Pro Review: A Budget-Friendly Powerhouse
When compared to its competitors, the vivo Y28’s Dimensity 6020 7nm processor provides similar performance but falls slightly behind in efficiency. The pricier competitor Oppo A60’s Snapdragon 680 is reliable for daily tasks but lacks the processing strength of the Spark 30 Pro. For general usage, the Spark 30 Pro provides smooth and responsive performance.
Gaming Performance
While not built for gaming, the Tecno Spark 30 Pro performs well with light to medium games, thanks to its Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Casual games like Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile run smoothly on medium settings. Resource-heavy games, however, may experience some lag.
In comparison, the Tecno Spark 30 struggles with higher-frame-rate games, while the vivo Y28 and Oppo A60 offer similar gaming capabilities. None of these devices are specifically optimized for gaming, but for casual players, the Spark 30 Pro is a good choice.

Battery Life
Battery life is a highlight of the Tecno Spark 30 Pro. It features a 5000mAh battery that lasts a full day on moderate use, along with 33W fast charging, which is an improvement over the Spark 30’s slower 18W charging.
The vivo Y28 also has a 5000mAh battery but comes with a slower charging speed of 15W. However, Oppo A60’s similarly powered battery with 45W charging wins the race.
The Spark 30 Pro strikes a good balance in terms of charging speed and battery life, offering dependable power for users needing an all-day phone.

Software and User Interface
Running on Android 14 with Tecno’s HIOS 14 skin, the Spark 30 Pro’s user interface is user-friendly and customizable, featuring dark mode, app cloning, and battery optimization. HIOS 14 also includes fewer pre-installed apps than previous versions, reducing clutter and enhancing performance.
Both the Spark 30 and Spark 30 Pro share the HIOS 14 experience, while the vivo Y28’s Funtouch OS 13 requires more RAM management. Oppo A60’s ColorOS 14 is simpler but lacks some of the added features that HIOS 14 brings. The Spark 30 Pro’s software offers a streamlined experience for easy navigation and customization.
Storage Options
The Spark 30 Pro is available in two configurations: 128GB with 8GB RAM and 256GB with 8GB RAM, both of which support expandable memory through a microSDXC slot. This ample storage allows users to store apps, photos, and videos without worrying about space. The expandable storage provides added flexibility for users who need extra room.

The storage options align with its competitors, with the Spark 30, vivo Y28, and Oppo A60 offering similar configurations.

- 120Hz screen AMOLED display- 108MP high-resolution main camera- 33W fast charging - HIOS 14 software- IP54-rated, dust and water-resistant.

With a stunning AMOLED display, robust battery life, a capable 108MP camera, and efficient performance, it is a solid choice for budget-conscious users looking for a reliable daily driver. While it may not suit high-end gaming enthusiasts, it appears as a strong contender around the 20000 Tk price range, offering excellent value for money among its competitors.

Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus Review: Budget-friendly Phone with Premium Camera
The Tecno Spark series has always held a special allure, offering smart designs with standard features that rival any other budget-friendly phone on the market. Users adore the unique colors and skins on the back side of Tecno Spark phones. Their latest addition, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus was released on 9 February 2024. Let’s take a look at the key specs and price of Tecno Pro Plus in Bangladesh.
Key Features of Tecno Pro Plus
Design
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus has introduced a design that is quite remarkable, especially the rear camera panel, a giant round glass chamber housing four lenses. The front side doesn’t bring anything new. Measuring 164.7 mm by 75 mm by 7.6 mm in dimension and weighing 179g, the phone fits comfortably in hand and doesn’t feel unreasonably heavy.
It uses a premium vegan leather back, which is the standout feature, providing a smooth and luxurious feel. The circular camera module adds to its aesthetic appeal with a sophisticated metallic finish. Its color resembles a soft sunset, emitting a gentle orange hue with hints of blue from the sides. The texture resembles fine knitted cloth, reducing glare for a more comfortable viewing experience.

With options for various colors - Temporal Orbits, Lunar Frost, Radiant Starstream, Magic Skin 2.0 Green, users can personalize their style. The shiny and frosted frame adds a touch of elegance, while neatly lined buttons ensure easy access. It features a dual speaker design for immersive audio experiences, although it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Display
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus sports a curved AMOLED display, a standard pick for streaming videos and playing high-quality mobile games. The spacious 6.78-inch screen and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz ensure enough room for smooth visuals and responsiveness. Furthermore, Spark 20 Pro Plus features 1080 by 2436 pixels of resolution and 393 ppi density.
Users may opt for the default 'auto-switch refresh rate' setting for optimal performance, though some demanding games may feel better at 60Hz. It's recommended to disable adaptive brightness for more accurate control over brightness settings, ensuring comfortable viewing in various environments. Despite a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, it maintains vivid and bright colors with excellent viewing angles.

The adaptive refresh strategy further enhances the viewing experience while conserving battery life. The curved AMOLED screen offers a comfortable grip, making it a top choice for those seeking superior display quality. Conversely, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro, while lacking the curved AMOLED display, still offers daily-use convenience with its straight LCD screen.
Cameras
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus features a 108 MP primary camera alongside two auxiliary lenses. Daytime photography yields sharp images, with color distributed in balance, clearly capturing scenery and subjects. The Super Night Mode enhances image quality in low light conditions by effectively managing highlights and details. Additionally, a 0.08 macro camera adds versatility, enabling users to explore close-up photography.
The front-facing 32MP selfie camera performs exceptionally well, especially with the Dual-LED flash, illuminating the subject and background for striking selfies.

It can support up to 1440p video recording with the rear sensors. Moreover, it can capture 1080P footage at 30fps by both rear and front sensors. It allows simultaneous recording with both front and rear cameras for dynamic content creation.
Performance and Hardware
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus delivers commendable performance powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset, coupled with 8GB physical RAM. What’s more, users can expand their RAM to 16GB with 8GB of virtual RAM.
Benchmark scores indicate decent performance, with 727 points in single-core tests and 2014 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench5.

In day-to-day usage, users experience smooth operation with no lag, whether browsing the internet, streaming videos, or multitasking between apps. Tecno Spark 20 Review: Budget-friendly phone with a smart look
Tecno Mobile, a Chinese company based at Shenzhen, was established in 2006, as a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings. In the recent years, this brand acquired huge reputation for producing value-for-money smartphones. Spak is the budget-friendly line up of Tecno Mobile. Recently, the brand has launched Tecno Spark 20, an affordable phone with an iPhone-inspired design. This device is now available in Bangladesh. Let’s explore its features in details.
Features and Specifications of Tecno Spark 20
Design
Tecno Spark 20 phone comes with 163.7 mm by 75.6 mm by 8.5 mm dimention. It boasts a larger camera island with three circled rings for the dual cameras and a quad flashlight. The glossy camera island may attract dust, contrasting with the fingerprint-resistant plastic matte finish.
The plastic frame houses a swift side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and while lacking an official IP rating, a rubber ring suggests water resistance to some extent. Dual speakers deliver a surprisingly balanced sound, complemented by a USB C port for charging and a microphone for calls. The comfortably held phone exhibits flat surface, and robust build quality without any creaks or flexing.
Read more: Benco V91 Review: Android experience at BDT 10000
The dynamic port, reminiscent of the iPhone's dynamic island, introduces a touch of sophistication, though its functionality is somewhat constrained.
The vibrant color options, like Neon Gold, Gravity Black, Cyber White, and Magic Skin 2.0 (Blue), Spark 20 presents an eye-catching play of light.
Display
The Tecno Spark 20 sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD, featuring a commendable 90Hz refresh rate alongside a 720 by 1612 pixels resolution. The enhanced scrolling experience due to the high refresh rate is more perceptible. While the display is satisfactory for its price point, a higher 1080p resolution would have been preferable.
Its punch hole disrupts the display. Besides, it has noticeable bezels, especially the prominent chin at the bottom. However, these limitations are often found in the similarly priced devices.

It’s display customization options offer flexibility, allowing users to fine-tune colors. With a peak brightness of 500 nits under adaptive settings, the screen remains visible outdoors. The ability to stream YouTube videos at 2K resolution produces vibrant and sharp visuals. While responsive to touch and conducive to enjoyable gaming, a desire for a higher resolution lingers, leaving the overall display experience commendable for its budget-friendly nature.
Performance and Software
The Tecno Spark 20 runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm, which, despite being an older chipset, performs well. The phone is smooth with no noticeable lag when using it, and apps open quickly.
Games also run fine, except for heavy ones. It handles everyday tasks like calls, texts, and content consumption without a hitch. Multitasking is decent, except for heavy games. Compared to the Spark 10 with the MediaTek Helio G37, there's an improvement in performance.

Tecno Spark 10 Pro Review: Can it outdo the ancestors?
Tecno unveiled a new phone Spark 10 Pro at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 6th March. It's worth noting that the ancestor Spark 9 Pro received a lot of praise for its impressive image quality of selfies, considering its price. Does the latest version Spark 10 Pro offer better features? Let’s find out the key specs, pros, cons, and price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro.
Key Features of Tecno Spark 10 Pro
Design
The design of the Spark 10 Pro has some similarities to its predecessor, but with a few noticeable changes.
One of the most significant changes is the camera module, which now features three circles instead of two. However, upon closer inspection, the number of lenses has been reduced by one. The circle on the right side of the module is actually a flash, while the small hole above it serves only as decoration. Although there is now one less lens, the main camera has been improved, making it a worthwhile tradeoff.
Its dimensions are 168.4 x 76.2 x 8.4 mm. Weighing 208g it seems a bit heavy. Its construction features a Glass built front and back panel along with a plastic frame.
Read More: Xiaomi Redmi K60 Pro Review: The Flagship Killer Midranger of 2023
The back panel of the Spark 10 Pro is made up of both glossy and frosted areas, but the glossy section has been reduced to just the lens module. Additionally, the back panel has been upgraded with a new material called Starry glass, which is highly scratch-resistant and feels very smooth to the touch. Unfortunately, only two-color options are available this time around, with green and blue not making an appearance.
Another notable feature of the Spark 10 Pro is the inclusion of a headphone jack, which can be used in conjunction with the earphones that come in the box. Additionally, the SIM card slot can accommodate both a TF card and dual SIM cards, and the phone boasts a waterproof design.
While some may prefer the design of the Spark 9 Pro, personal taste varies, and the Spark 10 Pro has done an admirable job at this price point.

Display
The display of Spark 10 Pro has been upgraded, and it's immediately noticeable as soon as you light up the screen. This time around, the phone features a punch-hole display, which has been a mainstream trend for some time now. However, it's worth noting that many phones within the same price range still use the water drop display, making the punch-hole display an upgrade.
Its 6.8 inches IPS LCD display offers ~85.6% screen-to-body ratio. It sports resolutions of 1080 by 2460 pixels and around 395 PPI density.
Additionally, the screen of the Spark 10 Pro now supports higher refresh rates, with a 90Hz refresh rate that's more than enough for most everyday applications. While it's not the best display on the market, it's clear that the Spark 10 Pro is putting in its best effort to offer users an improved viewing experience. Overall, these upgrades to the display add to the device's value and make it a worthy consideration for anyone in the market for a new phone.

Performance and Software
Tecno Spark 10 Pro boasts a MediaTek Helio G88 12 nm processor, which may sound like a significant upgrade from the G85 found in the 9 Pro. The processor has been combined with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It runs on HIOS 12.6 on top of Android 13.
However, in terms of performance, the difference is relatively negligible. Although the G88 handles PUBG Mobile with ease, maintaining stable HD graphics at 30fps, its capabilities when it comes to more demanding games like Genshin Impact are not as impressive. In testing, it is found that while the device can handle Commission Quests at the lowest graphics settings, the overall game experience is not ideal, and we noticed a 5% power consumption after just 10 minutes of play.
That said, while the Spark 10 Pro may not be the ideal phone for serious gamers, it's still a great option for those who prefer more relaxed games. If you're someone who enjoys casual mobile games or only plays games occasionally, then the Spark 10 Pro may be the perfect entry-level phone for you.

Camera
Tecno Spark 10 Pro has three lenses, with the main lens having a 50-megapixel sensor, an aperture of f/1.6, a wide-angle field of view, and PDAF (phase detection autofocus) capability. The other two lenses' specifications are unspecified.
The triple-camera setup works by using different lenses to capture images in different ways. The main 50 MP (f/1.6) camera is used for capturing detailed, high-resolution photos with a wide field of view. The other lenses may have different focal lengths or features, such as a telephoto lens for zooming in on distant objects, or a wide-angle lens for capturing more of a scene in a single shot.
The PDAF capability allows the camera to quickly and accurately focus on subjects, even in low light conditions, by using a sensor to detect the phase difference between two points of incoming light. This helps ensure that your photos are sharp and in focus.

A 32 MP (megapixel) selfie camera with a wide-angle lens and dual-LED flash is considered to be a high-end camera for taking selfies. The high megapixel count means that the camera is capable of capturing a large amount of detail in your photos, which is particularly useful for capturing facial features.
When it comes to video recording, the 1080p@30fps capability means that you can record high-quality videos at 30 frames per second, which is the standard for most online video content. This can be useful for recording vlogs, video chats, or simply capturing special moments of high quality.
Battery and Charger
The Tecno Spark 10 Pro's 5000 mAh Li-Po battery is quite large and should provide a good amount of battery life on a single charge, depending on usage. With moderate usage, the phone should be able to last through a full day without needing to be charged.

The 18W wired charging setup is decent, but not particularly fast compared to some other phones on the market. It should take around 2-2.5 hours to fully charge the battery from empty. However, the non-removable nature of the battery may be a concern for some users, as it means that it cannot be easily replaced if it starts to degrade over time.
Price of Tecno SPARK 10 Pro in Bangladesh
Techno Spark is available in Bangladesh unofficially. The price of the phone starts at BDT 15,690 with a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM combination. However, the official price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro in Bangladesh may vary.
Bottom Line
The Spark 10 Pro has already caught the attention of users as it boasts a unique feature - a focus on selfies. In a market where most entry-level smartphones compromise on camera quality, it's refreshing to see a phone that prioritizes the needs of selfie enthusiasts. Even in 2023, such phones are still rare.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is priced reasonably, making it an affordable option for those who don't want to break the bank for a phone. Despite its budget-friendly price, the phone doesn't compromise on other aspects of its specifications. It delivers performance that's on par with other phones in its price range.

Tecno Spark 8C: Review, Price in Bangladesh
The Tecno Spark 8C was announced back in February 2022 and had its official release on 8th March 2022 in Bangladesh. The company is known for its aggressive pricing and quality in entry-level devices. With a high refresh rate display, larger battery, and a quirky design, does the Spark 8C stand out from the pool of budget devices? Or is it just another incremental rollout? Let's find out more about the newest offering from Tecno.
key Features of Tecno Spark 8C
Design and Build Quality
Speaking of a quirky design, Tecno has seemingly gone all out with the 8C. Some of the previous iterations from the company have also been noted to have stand-alone design elements. With the Spark 8C, it all starts at the back. The phone has a rectangular camera housing which makes up almost two-thirds of the top part. The glossy textured bed also holds the fingerprint scanner and adds to the contrast of the overall color. There is another vertical textured design from the top to the bottom with the Tecno tagline “Stop at Nothing”.

Design aside, the phone has a plastic polycarbonate build all around. The power button along with the volume buttons are located on the right. The hybrid dual sim slot with a dedicated micro SDXC card is situated on the left of the device. The bottom houses the micro USB port for charging along with a bottom-firing speaker and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Seeing a micro USB port even on an entry-level device is a letdown in 2022. Tecno definitely could have included a Type-C port to keep up with the current industry standard. Overall, the phone feels sturdy with an eye-catching look.

Display
The display on the Spark 8C is one of the main branding points for Tecno. It’s an HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Now users might be thinking what’s so great about a 720P panel? Well, there isn’t but considering the price and the buttery smooth animation 90 Hz brings, the room to complain is very narrow.
On the actual performance of the panel, it does fairly well. The display gets relatively bright outdoors with almost no noticeable color shift. Comparing the panel with an AMOLED one or even a higher resolution LCD panel would be unfair. Rather the display of the Spark 8C sits in its own segment considering the price.
Read OnePlus Nord 3: Updated Rumors, Leaks You Need to Know
Camera
There are two cameras in the Tecno Spark 8C. Before getting on with the sensors themselves, the lenses sit completely flush with the back with a raised protection ring around the main lens. The flush back gives it a unique look and eliminates wobble on plain surfaces.
The main lens of the camera is a 13 MP f/1.8 27 mm wide-angle shooter and the secondary one is just a QVGA lens. The lenses aren’t stacked with features like OIS, EIS, and PDAF. Rather it’s a functional sensor that gets the job done in its bare minimum standard.
Read Apple iPhone SE 3: Leaks, rumors about release date, price, Specs
The color reproduction indirect light is decent. Though there’s almost no dynamic range in any lighting condition. The AI portrait mode is a hit or miss at times. Sometimes the subject is in complete focus with a decent amount of blur on the background, other times it just completely misreads everything. The low light issue is also persistent here. Images tend to get a bit soft on artificial light with noticeable noise and grain.
Considering the price-performance of the camera, it should more than satisfy an average user. The videography is limited to 1080P at 30 fps. There is also an 8 MP front shooter with a dedicated LED flashlight.
Read Tecno Pop 5 LTE Review: Durable phone under affordable price range
Processor and Performance
The processor choice for the Tecno Spark 8C was a bit of a surprise. The company went with the Unisoc Tiger T606 processor. Traditional users might feel out of the water as there is no Snapdragon or MediaTek reliability here. But the move to Unisoc paid out big time in the 8C. The processor performs much better compared to the entry-level G series processor from MediaTek and 600 series from Snapdragon.
Animations are fast and smooth with no noticeable lag in app opening and closing. The 90 HZ display with Android 11 Go along with a new processor has been a brilliant combination whose performance rivals many premium mid-range devices in the market. The GPU is not outlined in the device specifications but it’s likely an in-house one from Unisoc.

Now moving on to performance, the processor is a breeze for day-to-day usage. Casual tasks like browsing the web or watching YouTube will provide a completely lag-free experience. The lag is only evident in high-end 3D games like PUBG and Free fire. This phone isn’t really designed to be a gaming phone per se, but it happens to handle graphics-intensive games at low settings pretty well. But beware of the heating issues though.
The Android 11 Go edition comes with HiOS 7.6. It’s the proprietary OS from Tecno. The OS itself is far from a stock experience, but the Go edition makes things much snappier. Overall, the device punches way above its class when it comes to performance.

Battery and Charge Time
The phone features a 5000 mAh battery. Users can expect to get over 6 to 8 hours of SoT from the device. There aren’t any fast charge options available on this device and the micro-USB charging port will only make the charging process a tediously long affair.
Price of Tecno Spark 8C in Bangladesh
The Tecno Spark 8C is officially available in Bangladesh in 3/64 GB and 4/128 Gb variants. The price of the 3/64 GB version is 11,990 BDT and the 4/128 GB version is 13,990 BDT respectively.

Verdict
The Tecno Spark 8C offers a good deal when it comes to entry-level and budget devices. The display and the design are great for its price but in a typical Tecno fashion, it struggles with the camera. The battery life is great but a Type C charger would have made it even better. Overall, the device isn’t recommended for gamers, rather it's geared more towards casual users.

Tecno Spark 8 Pro Review with Price in Bangladesh
Tecno Mobile has been around in the local market since 2017. Founded in 2006, the Shenzhen-based company primarily focuses on making budget smartphones. Before entering the South Asian market, the company had a market focus on Africa where it became one of the top 3 mobile brands. The Tecno Spark 8 Pro is in line with the company's ideal of delivering the best on budget. The phone was officially released on 15th November in Bangladesh. Here are some of its key features so that customers can decide whether it can be their next choice or not.
Tecno Spark 8 Pro key Features
Design and Build Quality
The design of the Tecno Spark 8 pro is definitely one of its strongest suits. Even though the phone sports a plastic body all around, it still looks and feels premium in the hand. The back of the phone features dual-tone plastic which gives it a unique look. The camera module is tucked into a wide glossy panel which gives the striking dual-tone look of the back.

At 0.36-inch thickness, the phone is comparatively on the bulkier side. However, that ensures a solid build without any flex anywhere. Even though the phone is a plastic-built one. The volume rocker and the power button are on the same right side of the phone. The bottom of the phone features a USB Type-C port along with a headphone jack and a bottom-firing speaker. Overall, the design is nothing over the top. But the build quality is quite sturdy considering the complete plastic build.
Display
The display is one of the main selling points of the Tecno Spark 8 pro. The front features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD capacitive display. The display comes in a full HD plus resolution with a 395 ppi density. It also supports a wide color gamut at 16M colors.
Since the device is quite long, Tecno opted for the 20:9 aspect ratio with this device. There is a punch hole for the front-facing camera on the top middle. The hole is a bit large compared to the competitors in the market but that’s just how things are with budget smartphones.

The display has an 83.7% screen-to-body ratio which isn’t the best but not terrible either. The screen is perfectly legible indoors and can go all the way up to 450 nits in outdoor condition. Viewing angles are also decent but it starts to show some color shift at low light. However, the touch response and sRGB range more than make up for it. This is one of the better IPS LCD panels in a budget range.
Camera
Tecno Spark 8 Pro features a triple camera module on the back. The primary sensor is a 48 MP, f/1.8, PDAF wide-angle lens. In addition to that, there is a 2 MP f/2.4 portrait lens. However, it mainly acts as a depth sensor for portrait shots. The phone also features an additional AI lens with an f/2.0 aperture.
The main camera can record at 4K at 30 fps which is decent enough considering the budget offering. The outdoor photos come out bright and crisp with proper lighting. However, things start to get grainy indoors in a dimly lit environment. For the price, the main camera takes decent photos which are nothing out of the ordinary.

On the front, the phone offers an 8MP f/2.0 single shooter with dual flash. The front camera can also record at 1080p at 30fps. The story of the front camera is also the same as that of the back. Colors and details look nice in well-lit environments. However, the camera really struggles in low light. There aren’t any portrait options available on the front camera.
Processor and Performance
Tecno Spark 8 Pro features a MediaTek Helio G85 processor based on a 12 Nm processor. For a more convenient understanding, it is equivalent to the Snapdragon 730G variant. The CPU runs on an Octa-core setup with a 2 2.0 GHz Cortex A-75 processor and 6 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 processor. The octa-core design with two intensive cores makes the device good enough to run day-to-day tasks smoothly.
The GPU is the Mali-G52 MC2. The GPU is good enough for gaming on a budget. It can run some intensive games like Asphalt and PUBG pretty well. Though the phone gets hot after a bit of heavy use.

The phone comes with a 64 GB internal ROM as well as 6 GB of RAM. The internal storage might feel low by 2021 standards. But the added SD card slot makes life easier.
The phone is well covered on the connectivity front. It features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and dual-band WLAN. There are two sim slots with one featuring a micro sim. However, there is no NFC or infrared port on this device.
Battery and Charge Time
The phone features a non-removable 5000 mAh Li-Po battery. Tecno has been pushing out 5000 mAh battery constantly on their devices which makes them a reliable choice for long battery life. The mid-range processor isn’t power-hungry at all. It is possible to stretch the battery life up to two days with moderate usage. Tecno claims the battery has a standby time of 120 hours with 35 hours of talk time and up to 15 hours of continuous video playback.

The phone also features a 33W fast charging option which can charge the device from zero to 100% in one and a half hours.
Price of Tecno Spark 8 Pro in Bangladesh
Tecno has official retailers in Bangladesh and the phones are sold officially as well. The retail price of the phone is 16,990 BDT.
Verdict
The Tecno Spark 8 pro is a budget offering that ticks a lot of the boxes. It features a premium design with a durable build. The screen is one of the best in this price range and the processor is good enough for day-to-day tasks. It can even handle casual gaming pretty well. The battery is its strong forte as usual. However, Tecno could have done better with their camera module but at this price range, there is not much to complain about. Overall, this can be a great phone for heavy users who do not prioritize the camera much.

Tecno Spark 7 review: The entry-level gaming phone of 2021
Over the past few years, Tecno has grabbed the attention of mass smartphone users. The company has made quite a splash among the community of smartphone lovers by providing budget-friendly handsets. With the same goal, it has added a new handset Tecno Spark 7, to its profile. This latest model has come to light on the 16th of April of 2021. Tecno has made the phone super budget tight. That’s why people have become interested in the model. This Tecno Spark 7 has laid full details about the features of the phone. Read along if you are also interested.
Tecno Spark 7 Review
Design
Those who are already familiar with the iconic design of Tecno phones will find the apple not far from the tree. Because there is almost nothing new with the latest phone’s design. Tecno has used three colors, Spruce Green, Morpheus Blue, and Magnet Black. None of them are truly new, as the past few phones have come in the same colors.
The phone is 6.49” in height which is pretty average for the current trend. The rear side of this latest release has implemented a dual-camera panel and a fingerprint sensor. The rear cover has a matte finish with a plain texture that has made it less sensitive to finger stains and scratches.
There is no major difference in the placement of volume rockers, charging port, and the sim-card tray. The only displacement is the loudspeaker, for which Tecno has used the primary earpiece used for calls. This is without argument a design hole for the phone.

Display
A 6.5” HD Plus IPS display has been used, which has a 20:9 ratio. The refresh rate is sufficient enough to give users a smooth touch maneuver. The display can reflect high contrast colors with adequate precision. Video-and-picture qualities don’t derail much from the original source. Overall, users won’t find anything disheartening when it comes to the display of Tecno Spark 7.
But like the spot in the moon, the brightness of the display appears lower. In broad daylight, it will be a hassle to operate the phone as the display becomes darker.
Lenses and Captures
The primary camera at the rear implements a dual-camera setup. It has a 16MP main and a 5MP assisting lens. Combined, they take good-quality pictures. Wide-angle pictures bloom all major details without compromising contrast, or hues. Low-distance shots fall a bit from the standard. But it still better than other same-priced phones.
The secondary camera is an 8MP lens which is above the expected level for a phone with such little price. Additionally, the camera takes good portrait shots.
In low light, all lenses create some noises, and pictures look less straight. Led flash on both sides doesn’t come to much help to remove those noises. To get the best quality, pictures must be taken in bright places.

Performance
A MediaTek Helio G70 processor might not sound new for regular smartphone users as many mid-range phones have used it. But it would come as a surprise to many to get it within a small ranged phone like it. Working along with a 4GB RAM and Mali G52 GPU, the octa-core processor is invincible among the similarly priced phones.
Though running games with higher graphics is still not a good idea, game lovers can still play them if lowering the resolution is an option. Regular works like multi-tasking, installing apps, switching between apps, browsing will give no lag. Apart from them, low-config games run without making a mentionable disturbance. The phone has overcome the limitation of a low-range phone with its robust performance features.

Battery and Charging
One of the mightiest points for the phone is undoubtedly its battery. Tecno has installed a huge 6000mAh super-power battery. For the price range, the handset has come in, this battery capacity is unjustifiably large. With regular use, people can have a maximum of more than two days of energy support. In contrast, heavy users can easily run the phone for one and a half days.
In terms of charging options, there are two despairing downfalls for the smartphone. Tecno should have considered installing a Type-C charging port instead of the micro-charging port. Giving a Type-C port is not a big deal for smartphone companies nowadays. Another feeble feature of the phone is its 10W charger. It takes around 4 hours to charge the phone to the fullest. For even a tight budget, the handset could do better.

Price in Bangladesh
There is only one variant of Tecno Spark 7 has been made available in Bangladesh. It has 4 GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. For such spacious storage and attractive RAM capacity, Spark 7 is charging only BDT 11,999. Though it aimed to be a mid-ranged handpiece, eventually, it has come into the light as a considerable low-budget phone with features beyond expectation.
Final Verdict
Holistically, Tecno Spark 7 is a must but for those who are looking for a low-range phone. Comparatively, the phone is offering more robustness and capacity within the projected budget. The camera quality, processor, RAM, battery capacity, and display are all competitive with mid-range phones. So, these features are the strongest features of the phone. Whereas the placement of the loudspeaker and a minimum paced charging system are the only slippages from the quality. Altogether, anyone with a tight budget will be satisfied after purchasing the phone.
