Design
The new Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a bookish design instead of its prior Z Flip 3’s cram shell-like design. Which makes the latter one a bit more stylish. However, prior versions of Z Flip phones have similar designs.
The main cover display is normally 158.2 × 128.1 × 6.4 mm of dimension. And when folded the dimension stands 158.2 × 67.1 × 14.4-16 mm. The phone weighs 271g. An Armor Aluminum structure and hinge make the Z Fold 3 feel lighter and slimmer in hands than the prior Z Fold 2.
Three color variants will be launched for the phone and they are Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Green. Apart from the aluminum frame, Samsung used Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to protect both the back and front. The phone is made completely waterproof and the matte finish is also resistant to fingerprints.

An All in One Screen
Samsun Galaxy Z Fold 3 presents a 6.2-inch cover screen along with an inside phablet display of 7.6-inch. Both displays are dynamic AMOLED 2X and feature an extreme level of brightness level. Users will find both displays supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, from the game playing to web scrolling, everything will run smoothly.
Switching between two displays is also seamless. Users can move tasks from the primary display to the cover display after folding the phone over. Moreover, Samsung has used an under-display front camera instead of a naked-on-display camera hole. It gives users an uninterrupted display experience.
The primary display has a picture resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels and a 374ppi density. Whereas the cover display features 832 x 2268 pixels picture resolution along with an aspect ratio of 25:9. Between the two displays, only the phablet supports the HDR10+ technology.

Rear Camera Section
The rear camera setup hasn’t changed much. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has used the same cameras as the Z Fold 2. A wide 12MP lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and at last a 12MP telephoto camera comprise the whole triple-lens setup.
All the cameras give extraordinary experience to the users. Especially when it comes to the camera feature, nothing can compare to the ones given in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. The Dual Preview and the Capture Modes have been customized to utilize the primary and cover screen providing more efficacy.
The phone is partially folded and this enables users to change literally everything situated on the display. Users will also be able to employ Capture View to browse or scroll through previous photos while composing the nest capture. The primary camera can record up to 4K resolution at 60fps. For lower resolution videos, the frame rate will be up to 960fps.

The Lenses on the Fronts
Unlike in other phones, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G has two front lenses. It has a 10MP front camera on the cover display. And also, a 4MP under-display lens on the primary display. The last one will be mostly used for video conferences.
While the primary cameras haven’t changed from the previous Z Fold 2, the selfie camera has brought a few changes. People with an inclination to photography will find the device dreamy. The selfie camera also has numerous features and can take good pictures.
The cover camera has a maximum video recording capacity of 4K@30fps. Both the pictures and video recording quality are excessively good.

Performance, Software, and UI
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset powers the Galaxy Z Fold 3 that is going to launch in the UK. The company hasn't mentioned the chipset it will use for the US version.
The Snapdragon 888 is used in a great majority of high-end phones in 2021. The processor is accompanied by 12GB of RAM. The combined performance delivers an incomparable game playing and app user experience.
You may have to choose between 256GB and 512GB of storage, however, Samsung does not include microSD for additional storage. That was also the situation with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 features Android 10 with Samsung's One UI on top. There are certain improvements here to suit the folding form – for instance, the keyboard on the display appears in two different areas – and it's essentially comparable to the prior foldables.
