Chorki revealed the first look of this film on its social media handles on Wednesday afternoon.
"For almost the last 25 years, I have been trying to tell different stories. Those stories have impacted our audiences more or less, and my experiments regarding acting and storytelling always continued for those stories, but the one thing I always kept myself distant from was acting."
"When I was writing this film with Tisha, we realised that we both had to act in this film. I was initially hesitant about it, but Rony (Chorki CEO) and Tisha insisted. Tisha motivated me by saying that this story could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, so I moved forward," Farooki posted on Facebook regarding his acting debut on Wednesday.

Also, this is the first Chorki Original film to go to the Busan Film Festival, which is a great matter of pride for us."

Replying to a question, the director said that he is a person who lives among movies.
“My life is a movie itself. I’m always busy with something related to films. I haven’t even taken a one week break since starting working on films. Maybe that’s why I’ve been able to deliver so much work within such a short time,” added Rafi.

When asked why he named the series Pett kata Shaw, Nuhash said, "We all call Murdhanya Shaw as pett kata shaw since childhood. As soon as one learns Bengali language, he recognizes this letter as petkata shaw though no Bengali book mentions it in this name”.
He said it’s a very ghostly strange name.
“Somehow it has become very familiar from generation to generation through folklore just like these ghost stories. Those were also not written anywhere but word of mouth has spread them through generations. So finally, I wanted to call Petkata Shaw as Pett Kata Shaw and to bring ghost stories together in a modern way,” said Nuhash.

This has been one of the most anticipated projects of Chorki, for which many of Arnob’s fans have been waiting for a while.
Shot in Dhaka, Munshiganj, and Cox's Bazar, the film will also feature Arnob’s family and friends. Members of Arnob's musical troop ‘Arnob and Friends’ will perform parts of the songs alongside him.
Director Abrar Athar started work on the film earlier this year. Describing the project to UNB, he addressed the film as the story of finding one's own identity through the dual vision of an artist's life.

“Adhkhana Bhalo Chele Adha Mostaan is a film that explores the duality of an artist, told through chats between me and Arnob about life, battling our demons and overcoming them,” Abrar Athar told UNB.
Further explaining the project, he said, “Essentially we’re all ‘Adhkhana Bhalo, Adha Mostaan’ - and it’s about learning to embrace both, that sets us free. This film is a self-realisation trip, and I hope we can all connect to it through stories of love, loss and human connection.”
Arnob is regarded as one of the most gifted musicians of his generation in Bangladesh, especially among the youth, for a stream of anthemic tracks including "Hariye Giyechi," “Tomar Jonno,” "She Je Boshe Ache," “Hok Kolorob,” “Naam Chilona” and more.
